I posted a blog not that long ago about a group on this site called Traci's Naked Friends. I noted that Traci was no longer on this site even though the group still existed. In an attempt at humour, I wondered if I might disappear if I ever started a group called "Gerry's Friends."
Curt wrote in to say that Traci was a young woman who was driven off by harassment byunpleasant people on thissite. Having learned the circumstances of her departure, I wish to apologise to anyone who may have been offended by the post. No offense was intended.
What is truly troubling is this site already has trouble attracting and retainingfemale members. Let's hope our efforts to effectively self-police the site bring the needed results so other women don't leave the way Traci did.
UPDATE -- I keep running into profiles that say No Single Men, and they usually include married men who are on this site without their significant other. I respect their decision, but it shows again that too many undesirable men are making it harder for those of us who are simply trying to broaden our horizons through frank discussion and finding out what happens in other parts of the world.
And yes, it would seem men (some, not all) are indeed the problem. (Heavy sigh)
