Well, I have finally decided to take the jump and get the tattoo I have been thinking of for several years. This is going to be something new to me, but I feel like it's something I need to do. I have come to the realization that I need to do what I want to do, not what I think society wants from me.
Like you for many years I wanted to get a tattoo but everyone kept talking me out of it andI let them.
Eventually I decided that it was my life, my body and what I wanted, so went down the path of to hell with what others think or want, it is what I want and not hurting anyone.
So went and got my first tattoo, yes a small one but a design I wanted.
I now have 5 and happy with all of them, 4 are standard designs from the design book at tatt parlour and the 5th one I designed myself.
Do what you feel is right for you, get a design you will be happy with for many many years and enjoy
