hello all! I am a nudist father and my wife is a nudist mother. We live in michigan, and want to meet new people that share common interests. I am 26 she is 30. We would like to meet couples with child(ren) that are nudists and like to hang out nude. We have a son but we are waiting to introduce him to nudism until he can make his own choices. Our son is only a year and a couple months old but we want to change our same old routine. If you dont have kids its ok but keep in mind we are busy with family a lot. if this fits you, get to know us! Please note: We are NOT SWINGERS OR SWAPPERS!!! We only want to meet new friends. 

Well the first thing would be to make your profile public, put some general info in there. Thats my first suggestion.  Second, use the search engine in here to look for any nudists in your area.  Third, go to the AANR web page, or even here, and look for non landed groups in your area.  A non landed group is basically a group of nudists with out their own "resort" or "club".  They get together at different houses, do group camping trips, bbq's, things along those lines.  I have found that most members of non landed groups are families.   Good luck and hope you find what your looking for, but as to in here, use caution, not all are who or what they say, it is the web.

• I agree with Evan.  I did a quick Google on non-landed clubs and found Southeast Michigan Naturists; of course I don't know anything about them, but it's a place to start.  Cheri (from Travelites) is a great resource about non-landed clubs - and nudism in general.
• Posting your info here is a good starting point too.  But in most cases, people are not going to just come to you; and those that do are not necessarily the ones you want to.  You're going to have to go out and find nudist families.  The best options are still the resort and non-landed clubs.
• When I was a "social-nudist-family-guy", making friends at the resort or non-landed club was never an issue.  It's actually pretty easy when you're a nudist family as opposed to a single nudist.  At the resort, Moms would walk up to my wife and introduce themselves as their kid(s) would take off running with our daughter.  After running into each other a few times, we'd often get invited to come sit with them; and eventually dinner at their home when we became friends.  At the non-landed club, which often are get-togethers at someone's house, if you're well liked you may get re-invited to that person's home.  And then you can build a network of nudist friends.

On a side note, many of our firends were "older": we were in our early 30's; most were 10 years or more older.  But I never saw it as an issue; and besides, that's a statistical probablity with today's aging nudist population.  Just an FYI. 

I think you may want to disclose something about yourself before others would welcome you into their lives.

Now we are excited to get out there more and meet new people. we are located in kalamazoo michigan. Well sort of. It's a small town north of Kalamazoo, but kalamazoo is our biggest town.

ok so update: we checked out turtle lake from the outside tonight. I am unsure that turtle lake is my kind of place. It seems to resort like for my taste. Personally I would rather be in the woods back in nature. However, I am willing to give it a try. I also tried to contact the unlanded christian naturist group and did not get any kind of response. For now I will continue to research and get my face out more.

Please do not confuse conservatives with anti-nudism, my wife and I are VERY conservative by most standards as are many of our friends.  Now I would not go out and post your new choices on a billboard but you may be surprised how many of the so called conservatives have a live and let live attitude.  Now religious nut jobs are another matter, I am also a Christian and have never found where nuduty is a sin or wrong in Gods eyes.

I have run into a very similar issue, with a little twist.  My son is 4, my daughter 2 1/2. I would like to raise them in the lifestyle (not that it is hard, kids love to be naked :-) but reaching out to the community has been met time and time again with silence.
I believe it is the "twist" that is causing it, and it makes me sad because most nudists seem so accepting. Landed clubs never even return any of my inqueries or outright say I'm not welcome because my family happens to have two dads. (of course they don't put it that way, just that we would need to bring two female nudists with us so we don't "throw off the ratio". And this from a place that advertises as a family nudists resort.)

Turtle Lake is a great place.  

We are in northwest Ohio and are a family, I am a nudist, my children are nudists but my wife is not.
We love turtle lake, they are very family oriented (except for the dance on Saturday nights) they are also clothing optional (except for swimming must be nude to swim)

We are looking for meet other nudists and make some friends at turtle lake.

As far as children and when to introduce them to nudism, that is a personal decision. I feel that nudism is natural so I don't feel it strange to take young children just like any other type of vacation. If they start going when young it is normal to them so they are less likely to tell family, we went to a nudist camp. 

I would recommend going to turtle lake and asking them to take a tour.

On the inside it is a lot like many of the regular campgrounds, they have cabins and stuff to rent, rv spots and tent camping and the rustic camping is included with the day pass, which is were we camp when there. It is secluded and you can get a spot right on the lake if you want.

Our boys are now 5 & 8 and we introduced them when they were babies, it's just so natural to them.  They love visits to the club but since it's 3 1/2 hrs away, it not very often. Hope you get to go more often.

Well we don't have any children, but we are a couple always looking for new friends. We just moved to SC and we are itching to get out and meet some new people to connect with.
