North Texas Naturists (NTN) is a clothing optional social group dedicated to promoting and fostering a wholesome social clothing optional lifestyle in the naturist tradition that can be enjoyed by adult (18+) couples or singles living in North Texas. We believe that social nudism is not only healthful, but is a freedom of choice. My intent for starting this group is to organize as a non-landed club whose purpose is not to operate as only an Internet based group but to plan and hold actual outings and events in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area to include overnight trips to area nudist resorts, day trips, campouts, pool parties and theme parties. Hopefully at some point NTN might even help facilitate the planning and booking of group trips to out of state nudist resorts for interested members. Dependent upon the size and interest of the membership I’d like this group to plan to hold at least one event per month throughout the year. Since NTN is intended as a social club where members actually get together on a regular basis it is intended for couples and singles interested in social nudity and nude recreation living in the North Texas area. Anyone located within a reasonable driving distance of the DFW Metroplex is encouraged to join. Policy Statement: NTN supports the principles of safe, secure and wholesome naturism as espoused by The Naturist Society, American Association for Nude Recreation and similar organizations. We welcome adult (18+) couples and singles and do not discriminate in any way with regards to race, color, creed, or gender preference. We will not enforce any quota that discriminates against singles to achieve gender parity. Social nudism isn't about sex but about enjoying the freedom, comfort and camaraderie that being clothes free with others brings to everyone who tries it. Naturism is a lifestyle that respects the human body, the concept that reasonable exposure to the air and sun are beneficial to the body, mind, and spirit, and fosters positive body acceptance. Like most nudist clubs around the country, NTN will have some simple established rules to serve as a reminder to all members and invited guests what is expected of them to keep NTN a safe, private and secure group for everyone’s benefit and enjoyment of social nudity. These rules outline the expected policies of conduct and behavior. Everyone wants to be part of a group that they can enjoy, and know that that they can rely on fellow members to follow the common-sense policies of respect and discretion we all expect from other nudists. This is necessary to maintain the security and privacy of members and is the best way to help NTN become an active, successful and growing social nudity club. If there is sufficient interest in developing NTN into an actual club, I intend for the club to affiliate with The Naturist Society (NTS) and the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) as a non-landed club and all members of NTS will be required to be a member in good standing in their choice of one of those organizations. Proof of membership in either organization will be required before a person will be invited to attend any NTN outings or events. NTN Rules of Conduct and Behavior: (1) Do not under any circumstances give out the name, email address or other personal information of a fellow member without their prior and specific permission. To do so would be an invasion of their privacy and a betrayal of their trust. (2) Do not distribute or disclose by any means any club information such as event details, member names or the like to non-members. (3) Never take photographs without the prior and specific permission of all the subjects. Always defer to the wishes of host members regarding the permissibility of photography while visiting in their home and abide by the rules of any resorts we visit with regards to the permissibility of using a camera or camera device at those locations. (4) Advance permission to bring guests to a club outing or event must be obtained from a club officer. If permission is given you are responsible for personally introducing your guest(s) to the club members in attendance and are personally responsible for the conduct and behavior of any guest you sponsor. (5) Always sit on a towel and never use a wet towel on furniture in host member’s home. Use coasters under drink cups and if you don’t see any available ask the host for one. Pick up after yourself and always help with clean up at the end of NTN gatherings. (6) Do not under any circumstances exit a host’s home without clothing on or appear nude where you would be visible to neighbors which might result in embarrassment for the host with their neighbors or intervention by law enforcement. (7) Excessive drinking (when alcoholic beverages are permitted), profanity, obscene or vulgar language and offensive or indiscreet behavior is prohibited at NTN gatherings. Possession or use of illegal drugs or substances is never allowed at NTN outings or events. (8) NTN is not sexually oriented. We are not a sex club or swinger’s club. Sexual activity will not be tolerated in association with any NTN event. Violations will be grounds for expulsion from any event as well as grounds for immediate termination of membership in NTN. Sexual propositioning of any kind during an NTN event, clothed or unclothed is prohibited. (9) Follow all rules of any landed clubs that NTN visits as a group. Your conduct and behavior will be a reflection on the reputation of NTN and its membership.
