with any place... St. Maarten is great, but the end of hurricane season in Oct is really the perfect time to go there. Beaches are not crowded and airfare and hotel/codos are much less expensive.. I've been doing it the last few years and it's great.
Vegas, I'm game also... good idea, air fares are cheap there and can probably get a package deal reasonably.

I'm thinking something like this is going to be planned at least a year in advance so people can designate their vacation time and set some money aside...
A side note... I'm here in jersey and go to gunnison beach a lot during the week... if anyone it traveling this way I would love to meet them.I'm not talking hankey pankey for the swingers, just friendship. I have a very small place, but if you want and we are compatible you are welcome to camp out in my yard. I am about 1 hr away. But keep in mind this is the East Coast of the U.S.A. and our weather is seasonal... best beach time and warmth is really June-September.

I love St. Maarten, Club Orient. I have traveled solo a few times.. be great to get a group together.
Dallas is so land locked I have beach envy.
