Of course it is OK, why would it not be. It is good for the boys to be nude for sure with you and other males. It is so natural.

Hi guys I have 16yo twin boys we have backyard pool/spa/sauna we have never worn trunks at home and now that they are older they still don't. If they have friends over or I have my mates over its totally up to the individual if they go nude or not.

I'm a single gay father and have been from the beginning. I came out as gay when I was 16.  Long story short, I adopted a 7.5 week old infant in 1989, when i was 28 years old.  He's almost 23 yo now and isn't living at home.  Have become a full-time home nudist several months ago, though joined a couple local gay social nudist groups a few years ago.  Went from being a full-time single father, with little other identity! to busting out and getting naked socially.  I wasn't a nudist or naturist, per se, I just didn't rush to dress when my son was growing up.  Until a few years ago, we only had one bathroom, so it was just low-key passing each other in the hall and I didn't worry about it, though it was mostly when going between the bathroom and my bedroom.  That was how he noticed I had my scrotum pierced, which surprised him but didn't shock him.

Hmm, what else can I say? Oh, to some degree, I was cautious but only because of others' possible perceptions - gay men who adopt children are/were subject to suspicion - any gay man who wanted children must be suspect, right? What a culture!

Yep. Nothing better for kids than being raised in an open and accepting nude lifestyle. You're doing just fine dad. And you have some very lucky kids and adult friends who join you. I too raised a son in a single parent nude home and we both loved it. He's grown and married now with 3 kids of his own. You'll have some fine young men in a few years. In the meantime, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. 

Same here. We often go to nude beaches or nude hiking with friends any age and they just do what they want. Being nude is just natural at home and in our garden in summer by the pool. This is how nude life should be all time.

I think it sounds very relaxing. The kids grow up knowing that body is natural.

I read your question last night before going to bed. thought a bit about it.

1. I think the first question is are the kids comfortable being with you when they are nude?

2. Do you kids walk around the house naked with you.

If the answer to both questions is yes, I don't see a problem with it. But if your children have grown and learned being naked was not okay I think you need to take the time to discuss it with them. Realize I don't know the age of your children. If you are separated or divorced and the kids are clothed when staying with your mother this is an area for concern; as they are probably facing two sets of values. If this is the case I think it's important to discuss it with your wife to make sure she does not have a problem with it, or you maybe back in court with her suing to terminate your visiting rights.

You may want to find a book that shows pictures of family units naked and explain that some families, not many, do this and that you see no problem with it. I remember as a kid looking at the nude Africans in National Geographic magazine. If they react positively to your discussion you may want to try being naked in their presence and see how they adjust to that change. You may also enounter a different problem if you have children of both sexs, one that has gone through pubity and the other(s) have not.

One of the members on this site talks about his family life where he, his brother, father and uncle are naked at home all the time. This apparently started when he was a small child, so it was not a drastic change for him.
