RE: Proud or just not ashamed?
I agree that there is nothing to be ashamed about being a nudist and being seen to be one, I'm proud to openly tell people that I'm a nudist. Its how I am most comfortable and through being open about my nudism I can enjoy nudity in situations I couldn't if I was secretive about it.
I think its probably easier for those of us who visit public nude places to be relaxed about anyone seeing us naked. You get textiles and nudists at nude beaches so you get used to being naked in mixed company. So to me its the same with being nude online, I don't care who sees me nude here, its just me, a nudist being natural. If you are a home nudist, or maybe just visit nudist clubs it might be harder to be public about your nudism, you might be less used to being naked in mixed situations. Many years of going to nudist beaches means that clothing optional situations are the norm for me, I'll be unashamedly nude and not care if some others are not naked.
I like to see other nudists' photos, its good to see what we do and places we spend time naked at when we're enjoying the best way to live. As said above I believe in give and take, sharing our nude photos here with each other.
To me it doesn't matter what other nudists look like or what their interests are, the nudist world is just a smaller version of the wider world. I think most other nudists are probably more widely accepting of others than might be the case in the textile world, though I do know some exceptions. Whoever you are, if you're a nudist be proud and unashamed about it, its never proved to be a problem to me to be open about being a nudist.
