The Naturist Society views clothing-optional recreation as essential to body acceptance. Through clothing-optional recreation, participants, be they individuals, couples or families, learn to appreciate the diversity of body types and gain a better understanding and acceptance of their own bodies.
The term naturist means different things to different people. To some, it suggests a carefully considered way of lifea philosophy, no less. To others, naturism is nothing more than a day at the nude beach.
Here at The Naturist Society, we have members who are deeply committed to naturism, and view it as an integral part of their lives. We also have members who dont give the philosophical side of naturism much thought. They just know that not wearing clothes feels better and makes more sense than wearing them.
Chances are, you fall somewhere in between. It doesnt really matter where you are on the naturist spectrum. If you enjoy skinny-dipping, sunbathing nude, or that feeling of freedom while nude, then TNS membership is for you.
