Magnificent views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands. Dangerous surf. Can be foggy in the morning.
Public Accountant says: "This is fantastic beach for both nude and clothed beachgoers. Overall it has great scenery and is a definite must for nude beachgoers when visiting San Francisco. The water is very cold, so taking a dip feels good, but staying in the water more than a few minutes is not comfortable."

Locals and tourists. More men than women and it gets crowded on hot days. Some gawkers and lots of clothed users.

It is really a beautiful location. It is an urban beach, easily accessible by public transit.: Take Line 5 outbound; get off at 25th Ave; take Line 29 which goes directly to beach. When at the beach, must walk in direction of bridge; the nude part of the beach is at the northern end. Early Spring, or Late Summer best time to go when sky is clearest and weather conditions are best. Summer can be foggy and overcast, and cool to cold.
