Interests
Nudity for me is a way a life as well as my Christian Faith. As far as interests go I have many. I love to travel and meet new people young or old. I love to read and enjoy mostly non-fiction on subjects ranging from nature to science to history to current events to religion. I also love art and photography and enjoy getting out in nature and photographing the beauty of God`s earth. I don`t drink but my big vice is pipe smoking and cigar smoking. I have been collecting smoking pipes for decades and have a large collection from around the world. I often buy (and sometimes sell) on e-bay. I watch very little TV except for news, some sports and documentaries and some Christian programming. Most other fare offered doesnt interest me and I dumped cable years ago and do not miss it at all.
Music
My interest in music varies and enjoy everything from classical to some rock, with country, folk, opera, conservative Christian and other forms of music inbetween. I do not care for rap or hip hop or anything that my ears percieves as noise. Just an old poop here I suppose.

Heroes
Without a doubt, Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. And my biggest human hero would be my Dad, who passed away last year at 93. I am so fortunate that my Dad was always there for me. He taught me so much about life and was responsible for teaching me how to see things from all persepectives, all that gray between the black and white spaces! He also allowed me the freedom to be the man that I am, a free thinker which in turn guides my nude life style to this day. My Dad was a good solid, careing and devoted father. I miss him so much!

About Me
AANR Member Yahoo ID is nakedpops SKYPE ID is nakedgrandpa I am a very content and happy senior nudist living here in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain region of Virginia. I have a fantastic job with Hilton Hotels Inc. but look forward to retirement in a few years. I am 100% a home nudist and even during the colder months I am nude. I have been a nudist just about all my life. Even as a small child I was always shedding my clothes to my Mom`s frustration. Bless her heart but oh the phone calls she received from neighbors about me once again running around the back yard as naked as the Good Lord made me! Speaking of the Lord, I am a devout Baptist Christian and a big part of my life is witnessing and evangelizing for Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. I am somewhat perplexed by today`s views on nudity. I remember growing up in New England, the norm was for all of us to go skinny dipping down at the river or the lake. Sometimes girls would peek and laugh at us, but we just usually paid them no mind. I also remember that being nude at the pool at the YMCA was mandatory, bathing suits NOT ALLOWED! The only time I did wear swim trunks is when we went to some major public beach such at Newport Beach in Rhode Island. To me it seemed the only thing a bathing suit did for me was trap sand around my privates. Today I try as best as I can, to find secluded locations where I can be nude. Unfortunately in this part of Virginia, the closest Nudist resort for me is the White Tail Resort about a four hour drive east of here or the B-S Ranch 2 hours south of here in Reidsville, NC. On the upside, this region of Virginia is sparsely populated and I have found many beautiful locations within an easy short hike of parking to enjoy a relaxing peaceful day in the buff. Currently I live in the city of Roanoke and I am now house hunting for a small home outside the city with enough property to assure me of total privacy to being able to enjoy my nudist lifestyle. I recently started a blog (http://nakedgrandpa.blogspot.com/ ) and hope some of you can pay me a visit there and feel free to post your comments and greetings. I love nature and photography and hope to update my blog often with my thoughts and ideas and photos. I would also love to hear from you fellow nudists near and far. I often travel to New England, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia. Drop me a line!
