Interests

Dining out and traveling when I can afford it. I enjoy taking weekend road trips in the Texas countryside in pursuit of "the best" hamburger or "the best" barbecue. I love to experience the West Texas desert and the Texas Hill County areas. A cruise vacation out of Galveston is another favorite getaway.

Music

Amy Winehouse`s "Back to Black" is the last CD I purchased. I knew it would win at least one Grammy when I first heard it. Kelly Clarkson is another favorite contemporary singer of mine.

Movies

"Star Trek" was the last movie I went to the theater to see. I really enjoyed it. I caught "Into the Wild" on cable recently. A fascinating and well-acted movie. It was based on a true story. I actually felt like I was watching a documentary on the extraordinary young man`s adventurous life in the natural world.
