Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park is a year-round naturist park near Toronto in Canada where the entire family can experience traditional naturist values in a modern setting. We are nestled among the natural wilderness of the Ontario Greenbelt and Oak Ridges Moraine. Our varied landscape includes open spaces, forests, ponds, streams and a small lake. We also have many recreational facilities. Our clubhouse provides year-round amenities including saunas and a whirlpool.. Bare Oaks offers day-use memberships and seasonal campsites but also welcomes visitors and travelers
Directions to Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park
Directions From Highway 401 in Toronto. 1.Go North on Highway 404, which ends at Green Lane. Note: For a variety of logistical and political reasons, the government signs direct you to exit earlier at Mulock Dr./Vivian Rd. This will also work but is slightly slower. 2.At Green Lane, turn right (East) - Go 300 yards to the first set of stop lights. (Woodbine Ave) (About a 20 minute drive) 3.Turn left on to Woodbine Ave. Go North to the first set of stop lights. (Mount Albert Rd.) 4.Turn right (East) on to Mount Albert Rd. Go about 5 km to Kennedy Rd. 5.Turn left (North) on to Kennedy Rd. Go about 3 km - Look for a sign on the right (East) side of the road. 6.Total driving time from 401/404 â About 30 minutes. By Public Transit: While this is possible, it is certainly not ideal. Public transit is the environmentally-friendly way to go. Unfortunately, public transit in rural areas is difficult to maintain. York Region Transit runs a bus (Route 58A) from Newmarket that goes along Mt. Albert Road. There is a stop at Kennedy Road. From there, it is approximately a 3 km walk north on Kennedy to the gate of the park. My wife and I went to Bare Oaks at the start of the season. From the moment we stepped onto the property we were made to feel welcome. The staff is very friendly, you get the feeling they genuinly care about the visitors, it's not just a superficial smile they put up.
Since this was our first visit we watched a very helpful intro video of the resort. My wife is not a nudist and was a little nervous at first. However the grounds are big and we found a quiet spot underneath the trees. In the relaxed settings she had no problem getting rid of the clothes and after awhile had enough courage to join me in the pool!
Lunch was great at the Bistro and very reasonably priced. For a little more than $5 you get a jumbo hotdog "combo" which includes pop and chips. The selection on the menu was good ranging from hot dogs to salads.
I took a walk around the property and it was striking how clean evertything was. The property is really we kept. The walking trails were groomed and everything seemed to be in working order.
The campsite areas were packed and very busy. I did not see very many open spots so I guess reservations in advance would be a good idea if you are planning and staying a weekend.
We made 4 trips to Bare Oakes during the season and enjoyed it very much everytime

Bare oaks is my first nudist experience outside my family that follows nudism and exibitionism secretly. so its like my mother. people are friendly, amazing whirl pool and swimming pool, rooms, bathrooms, and campground.
