Must say this Nudist Camp is the Perfect Place for All to experience True Nudism. Great Place for first timers. (Familys, Couples and Singles) Very Family and Friendly Camp. Very Clean and Very Respectful. Wonderful and friendly Members. Offers alot for all to enjoy true nudism at its best. Very Clean Huge Pool for all to enjoy and meet freinds. Alot of sports activiates for all to enjoy. 5 Star Nudist Camp in my Review.

I stopped into Ponderosa Sun Club while driving from Chicago to Indianapolis during the latest stop on the "Act Naturally Movie - Bare With Us Advance Screening Tour". They were super nice (and you could tell they were still busy from recently hosting their busiest event of the year: Which is why I'd like to take this change to invite everyone at Ponderosa Sun Club to the following event: What: Sun Aura Nudist Resort presents a clothing optional, Sunday matinee advanced screening of the indie film, "Act Naturally" in Lake Village, Indiana. Director JP Riley and several cast and crew members will be in attendance for a Q&A afterwards and enter to win an autographed poster. Our first nudist experience was at the Ponderosa Sun Club. We had a great time and have been nudists ever since. They have a fantastic pool which serves as the center of the community. The people were nice and participated in all the fun things nudists do - sunbathe, swim, volleyball, shuffleboard, pitch-ins and dances. Several times we visited we noticed people suddenly disappeared in the afternoon. We found out the whole community was involved in a cook-out. Its unfair to say Ponderosa is not a true nudist resort. I don't see how you can make such a statement about a place you never visited. Yes they have their annual nudes-a-poppin event but what we learned from talking to their members is that it is their one major fund raising activity which keeps their membership rates low and maintain their facilities. We camped out there the night before a NAP event and went to the event the next day. It was a lot of fun.

Didn't notice the review drop box for the over all score until I hit the submit button. Unfortunately the default is 1. I can't change this myself and sent a request to admin to correct. Ponderosa deserves at least a 4 star rating if not a 5. TN should set the default to 3 to avoid accidentally rating a fine establishment a horrible rating. Its also ridiculous to force a date of stay if you visit a place many times.

Yes, it IS a true Nudist Resort!

While it is unabashedly true that they do have an exhibitionist/voyuer venue ONE DAY OUT OF THE WHOLE YEAR, I think its totally unfair NOT to categorize them as a nudist resort...I can guarantee you that the during the rest of the 364 days, Ponderosa Sun Club is as conservative as any other AANR based nudist club! The 'Nudes A Poppin' show is primarily used to generate revenue for the resort. Besides, I think its toally Hypocritical for AANR to criticise Ponderosa for its practices, when many of its Nudist affiliate Travel Agencies book people who go to Caliente and Hedonism2...
