In Palm Springs Life Magazine's December 2010, Best of the Best issue, TCI was picked as the Best boutique hotel in ALL the Palm Springs area. They were picked as the best not because they were exclusive and snobby (they let other places win those awards). Some of the reasons they were picked were because they are the most friendly place, guests have so much fun there, and they're such a great value. For instance their soda machine is only $.50/can. Although they don't have a restaurant, you get a free breakfast everyday, a local restaurant caters lunches at a very reasonable prices. You order lunch poolside and it is delivered to you poolside. In the afternoon, they serve complimentary wine and snacks. For dinner, 10 different restaurants deliver great food. Once you check in, you never have to put clothes on again, until you're ready to leave. And since they cater to vacationers and are popular 7 days a week, (they're not just another weekend getaway like many nudist resorts), they have rooms with kitchenettes and a BBQ, so many guests book 1-2 weeks at a time. Of course they are also always happy to book 1-2 night quick getaways too. In July, 2011, the Los Angeles Times newspaper picked them as the most popular small resort in ALL Southern California. So if you are social nudists and love to meet other people, they are the only place to stay in Palm Springs, California, the sunniest city in the US.

The Inn is small, cozy and relaxing. They don't have a lot of amenities but everything they do, they do well. Rooms are very nice and clean. Continental breakfast is very good and having morning coffee on the patio with new friends is very enjoyable. A great way to start the day. Afternoons they serve wine and strawberries for a snack. A great place for a couple to spend a few days.
Tom and Mary Clare, the owners, are very friendly and mix with the guests. They make everyone feel welcome because they are confirmed nudists themselves and lead by example.
Pros
It's nice to go to a place that's at the top of their game.
Cons
Not a family location and in this situation, this is good.

Luckly for us, we didn't listen to the weather forecast and went to Palm Springs for Day use @ TCI.
Enjoyed a sunny day with friends and the staff. . .
Weather forecast is not always accurate so people miss out on enjoying themselves there.

Terra Cotta is very welcoming and accommodating, the grounds are beautiful and the staff and visitors are very friendly. Some reviews claim this to be a swinger location but I've never encountered any in my visits here.
