About Me

Wow, in my 60s and still doing everything I want to do! How fun is that? I was recently asked at Glen Eden if I was once a professional swimmer. But No, I replied. I just play hard and love to play! Recently separated and ending the marriage was not my choice, but honesty and fidelity to one's word ranks high in my book. I'm intelligent, artistic, happy and have no baggage about who I am or where I've been. Intelligent discussion and social interactions are high on my list, and although I move independently in my world, I do enjoy destinations (Glen Eden near Corona, California, e.g.) for sun and fun. I can be nude there anytime, and here at home.

People who are joyful and engaging, non-clingy intelligent men certain of their knowledge, yet open to discourse. Playful people. If you ride a motorcycle of some size, that is a plus (I have an FLSTC 07, which to the uninitiated is a Harley Davidson Heritage Classic Softail.) If you are not certified on this site, you will not get a friend confirmation. If your pictures are not of your face (along with the rest of you), I have no interest in friending you. And if you are a twenty something from a foreign country, I doubt that we would have much in common.

Interests

Art, art exhibitions at museums, motorcycles (Harley-Davidson and Yamaha Star series) organic vegetable gardening, small livestock, Italian food, outdoor grilling over wood, non-theist discussions (Sex and God, How Religion distorts sexuality, by Dr. Darrell Ray), motorcycle rides with lots of twisties in SoCal mountains (lunch in Idyllwild or Big Bear!), dogs/cats/sheep/goats. Being retired and having enough money, being single and free to do what I like. My pets.

Music

Classic rock, blues and bluegrass. Podcasts and audio books. The sound of a waterfall. Last read/heard: How Stuff Works podcasts, Moth podcasts, 11-22-63 by Stephen King. The Game of Thrones series (audio books).

Movies

Pompeii (documentary), Breakfast at Tiffany's, Meet Joe Black, Wallace and Gromit, Cave of Forgotten Dreams (32,000 year old cave paintings), Mary and Max. Netflix is awesome! But I also play PS3, working on getting through Resident Evil. Flew through the Little Big Planet 2!

Heroes

Christopher Hitchens, Eleanor Roosevelt, Carl Sagan, Dr. Darrell Ray, my dad and mom, John Singer Sargent, Artemisia Gentileschi and numerous other artists who overcame adversity to follow their dreams.
