Basic Information

About Me

I am a retired professional violinist, married to a concert pianist (also retired but not interested in nudism). I continue to teach and play, although public appearances are hampered by my battles with an essential tremor that is sometimes audible. I am well-known in my very conservative community having been concertmaster of our local orchestra for ten years, which makes my interest in nudism something that needs to be kept under wrap. We have students coming and going in our home all the time as well as a 44-year-old son who lives with us for economic reasons and is uncomfortable with our occasional nudity. We are also very active in our state and local music organizations--both Florida State Music Teachers Association and the Florida Federation of Music Clubs. I freely admit that nudism is something that is icing on the cake, something that my wife and I enjoy at home when possible. The musical profession is a demanding one, even at our age, and is our primary concern. Staying in performing shape is one of our primary concerns.

I'd like to meet

I'm hoping that most of the people who request friendship are at least interested in classical music. This is a passionate, continuing interest and is also my profession, albeit retired.

Music

My wife and I are strictly classical musicians. As far as favorite music, Isaac Stern had the best definition of a favorite piece of music--the one you are playing at this moment. I love chamber-music.

Heroes

Growing up, my heroes were all musicians: violinists like Fritz Kreisler, Jascha Heifetz, Nathan Milstein and Joseph Fuchs (my teacher) and pianists like Artur Rubinstein, Vladimir Horowitz, Rudolf Serkin, etc. I always loved to listen to and play chamber music. I listened to groups like the Budapest String Quartet, the Juilliard String Quartet, etc. Of course, there's a new generation of virtuosi to admire. I admit that all this makes me a bit narrow in outlook, but performing and teaching music is a life which needs a kind of single-minded devotion if one is to achieve anything of note. Nudism is a new fascination, a perhaps unreachable idyllic world at my stage of the game, especially with a wife who is really not interested and for whom social nudity would be somewhat traumatic. Concert pianists are trained to dress carefully and present their best image to the public. It's hard to shake that background. We've been married for 49 years! I can dream, can't I? I would like to be able to visit one of the nudist resorts but I would have to do it without my wife, so that is highly unlikely since we're rarely apart.
