Well I'm 76 I have grown children grandchildren and great-grandchildren ...I owned interest and was CEO of an insurance agency...employing 20 employees...I sold my interest in the business 14 years ago... and retired...I didn't stay retired for long...I taught classes at one of the local colleges...up until 2009

I have always been a people person and I enjoy meeting new friends..

Interests

I love sports baseball, football and basketball...I love Nascar racing...In my younger days I was into martial arts...I have a black belt in Aikido It has been many years since I have competed...In sports.. I am mostly a spectator today..I do play a bit of golf...Not very well I'm afraid...

Music

Well I suppose the music I like is referred to as elevator music....lol....I love the music of the 40s through the 50s I grew up during the big bands era and I like the big band music...Glenn Miller being my favorite....I also like good jazz..and blues...I have never developed a taste for rap .

Movies

Well I love the old classic movies ...I like Hitchcock,Coppola's Apocalypse Now...and the Godfather trilogy...I like some of Scorsese's movies and some of Spielberg's

Heroes

I think the term hero is misused today....To me an example of a hero is a fireman who goes into a burning building to rescue someone trapped inside...anyone who is willing to sacrifice his or her life to save someone else from danger...to me is a hero...Just because you serve in the military you aren't a hero...I was in the Marines for 4 years , during the Vietnam years..but I never considered myself a hero...and I still don't today....I only did what anyone else would do...I remained in the Marine reserves and retired after 25 years service with the rank of Lt. Colonel
