Interests
my two teenagers; cycling (atb, touring, road), volleyball (sand before indoor), basketball (my favorite sport); camping, hiking sauna; reading, preferably fiction. My primary sports passion is NCAA College Basketball.
Music
classic rock (Stones, Floyd, Zepplin, Aerosmith, Grateful Dead, Frampton, Clapton, Hendrix...); blues (BB King, Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy, SR Vaughn...); alternative rock (Smashing Pumpkins, STP, Nirvana, NIN, Everclear...); reggae (Bob Marley,...).
Movies
action and adventure comedy (though too few movies are worthy these days-live standup is still better.); cerebral stuff at times (Life is Beautiful was a great movie); some animation (I actually liked the Harry Potter Series and Tolkien Trilogy. Pixar rocks).; some cult films (Office Space, The Crow). My favorite actors are Tom Hanks (Forrest Gump), Anthony Hopkins (Silence of the Lambs), Jack Nicholson (One Flew Over the Cukoo`s Nest), Morgan Freeman (Shawshank Redemption), Brad Pitt (Seven), and Jimmy Stewart (It`s a Wonderful Life). I am a big fan of Second City comedy, both past and current. I still mourn the loss of John Belushi, but have Bill Hader (SNL) to help me fill the void. Books aren`t even mentioned here. Huxley`s Brave New World and Orwell`s Animal Farm are two of my favorites. On a lighter side, I`m a big Stephen King fan (the Shining, Pet Semetary).
Heroes
John Muir, MLK, Bob Marley, Jimmy Carter, Stewie Griffin, Darwin, ... (in that order, I think)

About Me
I`m a scientific thinker but daily battle a definite emotional component (Emotions make me or break me, at times, I`ve found). I hold an overall positive though realistic belief in the future of humanity. I think all humans are born with a set of skills and weaknesses and those of us that work on the latter (not just the former) to achieve a balance are the ones that can make the most of it. There`s always a diamond in the rough, though, and we all potentially matter, so never count anyone out (esp. yourself). I tend to assume that a new friend is of good character until he/she proves otherwise. I`m loyal without limits to a true established friend, though. I travel to a new warm naturist site whenever I get the time, but I don`t have friends/family that appreciate this freedom as I do. As result, I usually visit select beaches and resorts solo. There I find most naturist communities accept me as I am. I never regret spending my vacation this way.
I'd like to meet
I always look forward to meeting any and all laid back naturists, as I find I like something about most that I meet. Most are very real people. I find that I can easily communicate with most naturists, which is not what I typically find in many textile environments. When I choose to spend my valuable free time hangin` loose, I have consistently had a great time! Naturism is a welcome respite from my daily grind--so much so I wish I could bring it back and infuse it into my everyday world. Who I avoid are: 1) those that must be drunk or high to have a good time 2) prejudicial people (though those that have judged based on analyzing solid data are just fine in my book. In fact, I wonder about those that don`t develop an opinion) and 3) horndogs that only follow their brainstems.
