My grandfather who, although not legally, started going to school with his brothers at the age of 3 because his need to learn was so strong. He was later taught be the famous Professor Julius Sumner Miller then went on to start his own business as a general "i can fix almost anything" repair man who`s shop also doubled as the towns Petrol Station, Mechanics workshop and Electrical Sales and Repair. His house was built first, by him, and then the shop was built right next door, also by him. I dont think there was much he didn`t know about or how to fix. He died a little over a year ago and with him he took a wealth of knowledge to which i was lucky to have experienced.
