Zipolite Nudist Festival
Zipolite is Mexico's only official clothing optional beach. Each year they hold a nudist festival with music, body painting, volleyball, market and many more activities.

- @Glampa I dont know about the flight to Huatulco, but you can reach CDMX and from there can take a flight to Huatulco. From Huatulco its 90 mins drive. I am going on 31st on afternoon flight. Have 2 nights hotel and then have 2 nights hostel., private room. Prices are very high on these dates.

- @Glampa check out this page. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/get-fast.html My experience is if you have your itinerary/tickets in hand, you can try to get an expedited passport. This may involve actually going to a passport office, not just the post office to get it processed. I'm in the San Francisco area and I've known a few people that flew up to Seattle to visit the passport office there because they had appointments available. Check different offices near you. Good Luck!

- I'm interested in going. Today I made hotel reservations and was about to hit PAY on the airline site when I realized that our passports had expired. HOW QUICKLY CAN I GET IT RENEWED??? Who knows? We'll see. And then we'll see if there are any rooms left. In the meantime, does anyone have any advice on how to get there? There are very few flights to HUX or PXM from Dallas, and the ones I've found have a couple of stops, making a 8-25 hour flight. Or places to stay? I had settled on Casa Mirador.

Important Details
Book a room early. They go fast. Be sure that your hotel is clothing optional (not all are). Only Casa Nudista is nude-only. There is every accommodation from camping to 5 star and lots in between. Check AirBnB too.
What to Bring
Sunscreen and sandals. Take pesos not dollars - few places take credit cards and the ATMs often go dry during the festival. Something to cover up with in case you need to walk into town or restaurant (I (M66) often wear just a mini-sarong).
