Casual Weekends/NexusNudist
Is this the page where a schedule will be posted?
Correct!
The schedule will be posted on this page. Updates and reminders will also be posted on this page, hopefully members will also post if they have plans to attend, that way people can have a good idea of who is going.
Everybody already on this page is a Nexus nudist member, (and that's free just for being here).so they get the same discount rates as a full member. Newcomers can join as long as they have have a convincing profile or preferably certified, so everybody that's already on the page is golden, and they only have to look for the schedule. Then RSVP when they're ready.
We have two primary problems before we kick the the scheduled weekends off, one is time to do it. Our biggest concern is liability risks, it seems every season there's at least a few people that try some over the top activity, ranging from reckless to criminal. That's concerning to us. Our plan, with scheduled weekends is that we can be there to watch who's coming in, and that should mitigate a lot of the problems. But we're still not comfortable with the risks. Right now we're pondering the options.
If we quit doing nude recreation, there won't be any other places. And that kind of sucks.
I plan to do some posts about some of the issues that came up. I think people would find it interesting. I haven't had time to do that yet.
It would be cool if everybody would switch over to this platform, then it saves us the trouble of doing newsletters. It's much faster to post up here than to send out a newsletter. Also members can connect with each other. A lot of people are still reluctant to sign up on TN.
The app that we were using for newsletters isn't available anymore so it won't update. I've tried using the Google groups, and that hasn't been working right, I've tried using Yahoo groups, I wasn't able to get that to work right either. It's probably operator error, but I read elsewhere online that other people are having similar issues. By doing the free membership through TN, it saves us time and money, that's why it works to do it for free. I'm toying with the idea of a sub stack page, for those that don't want to sign up on TN, then they can just pay the 33 bucks per year through sub stack. But for now that's just an idea.
