Hours of Operation
Due to upcoming Artemis II launch, Playalinda access hours have been temporarily altered. Normally open 6 a.m. to 6.p.m with latest entry allowed at 5:00. Now through Jan. 30, hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with latest access at 4:00. Jan. 31, beach access will be closed completely until after the launch, then open again with original hours.
Replying to my own post. I checked it out to see if any replies or comments, - Nothing! Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the temperature is approaching freezing?! On a more serious note, - please keep an eye on NASA's plans for expansion and (many) more launches. Playalinda itself may be in jeopardy. Please be prepared to protest, donate, write letters, march or whatever it takes to save our beaches!
