Bare Blend coffee

Has anyone had this coffee by Stereo Coffee? It is supposed to be inspired by the 'bare'ista at Bare Oaks naturist resort. I have had the coffee but not been to Bare Oaks. Must say that i appreciate that the company went there for "research" . Wonder how close I can come to the real thing?

Hmm... A coffee whose flavor is inspired by a nude barista at a nude resort! Sounds like a pretty slick marketing plan, to me! LOL. Was Juan Valdez nude on the mountainside when he picked the coffee beans? Were the beans roasted by a nude coffee roaster? Does one have to be nude while brewing the coffee? What happens to the coffee flavor if the person brewing the coffee is only semi-nude (topless, for example)? Is the full and robust flavor of the coffee only able to be appreciated by those who drink the coffee while nude? Enquiring minds want to know! LOL.

Yes, you do have to be nude while you are drinking it. Well atleast at my house! I saw the brand on a Bare Oaks video, contacted Bare Oaks, found the company (They make far more flavors), the label bears the Bare Oak logo, so hopefully they get a little monetary benefit if not just the free advertising (alway try to support nudism if possible) and it is pretty good coffee. A bit expensive with it coming from Canada on shipping and specialty brand but if for a short moment, standing naked in my kitchen, looking at the nude couple on the label thinking of my next nude get away helps me get ready for the day, then worth it. Just curious if others who tried it think it is close to the actual original cup they had at the resort.

Ah! Well, being naked while brewing and drinking coffee has never been an issue around MY house, either! So... grab a mug, pull up a stool, and let's share a cuppa!

I find your little quest very interesting and I hope you gather enough data for a significant finding! I would love to be included in your sample population but, alas, there are problems that preclude that. ONE is: I am in Australia. I'm pretty sure Stereo doesn't import their products here and I have to assume that ordering a 12 oz. package of Bare Blend (at $22 per package) AND having it shipped to Australia from Canada would be rather $$cost$$ prohibitive! ANOTHER problem is: although I DO love my coffee, I'm afraid I don't have a very discerning palate. When it comes to making FINE DISTINCTIONS in foods and beverages, I've been told I have a palate "like shoe leather". So, you see, unless Bare Blend coffee is "off-the scale-EXCEPTIONAL", I might not be able to distinguish it from my regular blend (Robert Timms' Italian Espresso, dark roast) which is an Aribica coffee. Bare Blend is a Colombia Timana and Brazil Cachoeira blend, neither coffee which I have had. It would be VERY interesting to taste the two, side by side, and compare!

I hope you get enough numbers in your sampling to give "us" an analysis and conclusion! While waiting for your data to come rolling in, I'll just pour myself another cuppa and enjoy the bright, sunny morning here in Oz...nude, of course!

Cheers!
Tanner

RE:Bare Blend coffee

It is good to know the counter there is serving good coffee, good conversation and a no dress code. Although the Cuppa brand here is a mushroom coffee with a different taste than your southern brands that even your non concerning palate could tell. And yea by the time you would have it shipped down under it would be a very expensive morning joe. I guess my quest for information might have me crossing the border to the great white north of O Canada. Hopefully not when its covered in white.

The_Gunns, the link you added works a treat! I'm thinking of printing and framing the ad...just as a visual reminder of the pleasures to be had when enjoying that morning coffee, in the nude!
