Lovely beach weather, but the roads to get there are probably flooded. Sandy Hook had a 4.8 foot storm surge during Irene.

do you think it will be easy to get to the beach this saturday any one have any info on this and who is possibly going thanks looks like very few weekends left for the beach

One of my friends posted an update advising to check with the Sandy Hook Ranger Station before going to Gunnison Beach. No electricity on the hook and shut down. In addition, the roads enroute to the hook may be flooded, especially in Sea Bright.
