I also ran that 5K.......good time! And yes, old shoes are a must if you don't want your good ones "colored"!

Were you in the run or the "walk" that turned into a run? I'd never done either before and didn't know what to expect so joined the walk / run. When it started, a group at the front opted to run, so I just joined in. Actually felt pretty good to run again after not doing it for years!
