RE: Have you ever been arrested for nudity?

Yes . In 2014 . Was arrested after walking back on a trail from the beach to the parking lot . Was seen by 2 people who both called the cops with their cell phonesand gave detailed descriptions of me to the cops . Cost almost $ 1200 . Spent a nightin jail . Fines , Recovery of my vehicle from the impound lot , and 3 months Probation . Learned from the Judge , and the Probation Officer that nudity is tolerated , but still illegal , at the beach if you aren't trying to ' shock ' people with your open expression of nudity .In other words , try to be hidden . Minute you enter the woods leading back to the parking lot makesyour nudity intentional , and they can therefore arrest you for Indecent Exposure . Learned my lesson . Be Careful in Michigan .

Many people complain about nudity in order to "protect the Children". What they are really doing is teaching the children that the human body is dirty and to be despised. Unfortunately, these people were taught this by their parents.

Unfortunately, these people were taught this by their parents.it would be fun to throw that argument back at them. Have them site a real case where any child or any adult for that matter were ever harmed in anyway by seeing a naked body. Give real documented evidence that any short term or lasting harm was done by seeing skin. When you think about it at the level doesn't it make you wonder where anti nudity laws even came from? There are so many real dangerous things in this world that folks need protection from, why anyone would want to waste time worrying about skin in view is beyond me
ok now back outside to soak up some head to toe sun in my mostly private backyard. Only had one cop encounter me there over the years.

why anyone would want to waste time worrying about skin in view is beyond meMe too, and itseems that skin is not the issue. Even some of the swimwear bottoms for women available at Walmart cover only part of the rear and not much of the front. The tops tend to leave more breast exposed than covered. Yet for men the suits are outrageously big and floppy. I suppose you could find suits that skimpy for men too, but they are certainly not mass marketed. I also believe that a scantily clad woman is more acceptable than a scantily clad man.
As for being arrested, no. There have been occasions when I could have been.

No, but I've not been public for long lol. (It could cause me problems if I was though, as I have to have a DBS check for my job).

...
Another good question to ask... but I'm sure it will be dismissed
as irrelevant by some people... How many, if any, actual sex
crimes are committed by naked people?
Don't most flashers etc. wear clothes? ... Your
-need for- clothing can typically be determined by the location and
activities at that location. Assuming someone is a criminal
by the way they are dressed only works if you are wearing clothing
given to criminals... even so, maybe some people like orange
or Red and white striped jumpsuits as casual wear ;-)
IMHO, this issue of assuming nude is criminal, sounds more
like a political power play than any sort of -protect
the children- policy. ... As stated above... where is the
supporting, relevant evidence?

P.S. also see my update in post #30 above.

The thing is that most people who support the law makers (vote for
them) don't understand about true nudity ie non sex nudity and
think nudity other for baths/showers/ changing is only for sex.
Also they think anything they were told that nudity harms children
is correct as this only comes in as the parents frighten the
children into thinking nudity is dangerous when 99% of the children
would not be bothered over it. Also the brain dead will think
public nudity means the "P word" as well and is unsafe for nude
people to be around their children.

Never have, but at my 30th class reunion (shortly after NJ stopped nude swimming at unofficial clothing optional sites on state property) we had a ranger who was responsible for enforcing the law and few people he had arrested!

Until now, no contact with the police because of my nude hiking- or fishingtours
