Point Pelee

I have heard that nude sunbathing is not allowed at Pt Pelee, but then I hear rumours of a not so secret beach where folks do gather to sun.
Does anyone have any info on the beach, how to get to it, and if the rangers tolerate it or not.
Thanks.
I've tried Port Burwell, but it is a long drive for me.

Are you talking about Hillman beach, just to the north of Point Pelee?

Sorry, I just found your reply today. I wasn't thinking of Hillman Beach.
I was told there is a beach that you can get to from within the park. One person sent me a reply that you could rent a canoe from the boardwalk. Paddle out and then paddle left to get to this mystery beach..
thanks for the posting

I did walked to the beach you mentioned in point pelee. You can park your vehicle at the visitor center parking lot. Then there is a short trail to the east side beach. once you reach the beach, you can walk towards north. About a hour walking you will found a open beach. It depends on water level, maybe some part you have to walk in the water, which means the park rangers hard to access with ATV.
