Apart from the aspect that there is not only either or, but indefinite shades between, given those both as the only choice, I would always choose full bush. I prefer adults, of course including me, looking like adults. And honestly, next to full body shaving, an otherwise hairy man shaving a hole to where the densest body hair sits is the most ridiculous thing I can imagine doing with body hair.
For hygiene there is water and soap. And if you shower (or brush through) before getting intimate, there should be no hair falling out because of licking over it.
And for "it looks tidier" I like the comparison with a lawn. If you mow a lawn, you leave a good part of the grass blades. If you cut it right at the ground, you do not have a tidy lawn, you have no lawn at all.
I am a typical nothern European light haired and blonde. After many years of itchy genitals due to moisure/sweat, specialist medication, I decided to go totally shaved. Almost immediately the itch stopped. So I am a convert to smooth. I don't appreciate the stupid comments of some nudists about whether you are hairy, full bush or smooth or somewhere inbetween. Its a personal preference. Its like music or politics, everyone has a different opinion. It does the the nudist community a disservice by being critical of others. We are suppposed to be an inclusive community. As an aside, I like hairy people too!!!!!!
Hasn't this topic been discussed at length and over and over again? Nobody is going to change their personal preferences and each of us has our own opinion of how we would like to appear or feel when stripped of our clothes. So why waste our breath and time over this? Of course if people have choices as to how they would like to be seen or see others , this is probably the place to put yourself out to let the folks know what to expect when you've nothing to hide!
