GE survives nearby Brush/Forest Fire.

If some of you don't already know, Glen Eden's property abuts undeveloped wildland which abuts Nat'l Forest. Recently, the Holy Fire broke out (started by an arsonist, actually) in Trabuco Cyn on the Orange County side of the mountain and with winds, low humidity, high temps and inaccessible terrain to ground crews, the fire quickly advanced onto the Riverside County side of the mountain.

Hand crews and fire engines were dispatched to the quickly advancing fire that threatened Glen Eden but was stopped and no damage to structures are reported. Glen Eden residents are still under mandatory evacuation while hot spots are dealt with and completely extinguished but GE was spared and the residents should be able to return home soon.

I've been following the saga on their FB page. Truly a dedicated group, and whomever has been posting updates is doing a fantastic job! I'm thankful and happy GE has been spared.

The evacuation has been lifted and residents are returning. The club still isn't open to members or guests. Pool clean up is in progress and they want to ensure the place is up to speed and clean for members and guest before they open the gates to them, possibly Friday.

But for now, GE residents can return home!
