In the military and new to nudism

So my wife and I are new to nudism, we have been home nudist for a while but are just now getting more active and social about it. I am a bit worried that it could affect my career, is this a valid concern? Has anyone had any experience where nudism was an issue during their military career?

I am not in the military but I have similar concerns with my career and friends knowing about my interest in going nude. It is only recently that I have posted nude pictures on this site and even those are without my face. However, as I told my wife, they will only see you at the resort if they are there themselves. I have even set it so that only my friends can see my pictures on here. I figure that way I can control who sees them. Again, if they are on this site they are probably interested in it themselves. As far as what I do in the privacy of my home or yard then that is no ones business. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I figured that if anyone recognizes me at a resort or online then they are also nudist and then I would have just gained another nude friend. But it still concerned me if it were to get leaked out by other means and to less accepting people.

Thanks for sharing, I guess I won't be posting any naked pictures, my wife doesn't like the idea of that anyway.

I was on active in the 80's and 90's.......long before the military was liberalized, so to speak. I think that a lot depends on where your serving and with whom. Some commands and command structures my be more socially conservative than others in attitude. In my years, nudity was something that never came up, and everyone that I was stationed with knew that I was naked at first opportunity.

Several pieces of advice......
1. Dont go naked where you may have a run in with the law. The military largely doesn't give a crap what you do off base, in your spare time, on private property so long as it isn't illegal or cause embarrassment to the command.
2. If I was posting pictures of myself, I would not include a face shot with a full frontal. And of course, don't post anything that might be considered pornographic where you can be identified. I once posed nude for a photographer in Key West for the fun of it, I shouldn't have been surprised when one of the pictures showed in in a local magazine. As fate would have it, no one that mattered saw it and the picture was very tasteful.

It is important to keep them separate. Your secret clearance could be affected. I have had only a few others in the military know of my nudist activities.

I have not had a problem with it. Also, there a resort in VA founded by a retired Sailor. I was a member there and ran into multiple active duty people. No shame if you're not really doing anything wrong that. Especially if you're wife is a part of the lifestyle as well.
