My understanding is that its at the University of B.C. - whichever b each is off of a cliff at UBC. I plan to go there in July. Have heard great things - so looking forward to it.

RE:Wreak beach question

Wreck Beach (not "Wreak Beach") is at sea level, a couple of hundred feet below the UBC campus. The most-used path down is Trail #6; the trailhead is just north of the T-intersection at NW Marine Drive and University Blvd, directly across from Caribou House. Another good way down is Trail #3 (trailhead at NW Marine Dr and Chancellor Blvd); this brings you down to Tower Beach, much less crowded and also clothing optional, a fair walk (but enjoyable, at least to me) to the northeast of Wreck Beach. Both trails show up on Google Maps:
Trail #3: 49.271415, -123.254083
Trail #6: 49.263418, -123.259906;
https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Trail+6/@49.2634183,-123.2599059,18z/data=!4m8!1m2!2m1!1sUBC!3m4!1s0x548672b5253cdba9:0xd6219895c19eb8b7!8m2!3d49.2634183!4d-123.2592597?hl=en
If the weather cooperates while you're there, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I meant to mention as well: Finding parking near the trails is usually a challenge. Arriving early helps. Traveling light also helps, both in case you end up parking far from a trailhead, and because the walk back up the hill at the end of the day can be exhausting.

Wreck Beach was my first experience with public nudity. Parking was a problem of course but when I got nude on the beach it all seemed so natural. I loved it and was hooked on nudity.
