RE:Need advice on whats acceptable

Thank you everyone!

And to the person who asked - I dont want to keep the curtains closed because I would like to enjoy the view and sunset, etc.

I remember an incident where neighbors complained about a woman swimming naked in her pool. They called the police but the police couldn't pin anything on her.

I would think that being nude should not be a problem. However, being lewd will get you trouble for sure. Just put yourself in the other person's shoes. If they see you, would they think you are nude or being lewd? Being nude is not about offending or shocking others but rather it's about enjoying the feeling that one gets from being nude. Just my two cents.

Of course they couldnt pin anything on her, she wasnt wearing any clothes to pin to.

That pair of posts reminds me of an amusing incident at the local naturist swim.
We had the venue to ourselves so nobody bothered to lock their clothes locker but one new member did so and was holding the key with it's safety pin for attaching it a costume wondering how to deal with it. It was a good job he had a sense of humour.

Well if he had pieced ears the problem would have been easy to fix.

In Victoria, Australia, the law seems clear regarding not exposing genitals in a public area or where one can be seen from a public area. Private apartments facing yours should not be an issue. A rooftop restaurant may well be. Tinting windows or a glass balcony, or arranging furniture may be sufficient if you're concerned about the legality rather than also actually being seen. I expect the statutes are not hard to find these days.

I dont know what the rules are where you are, but in Ontario, if someone complains about your nudity, you can legally charge them for being a peeping tom. why were they looking your window to see you naked in the first place.
