If I went to the ER, I would see whoever was available regardless of gender.
That being said, I probably would be a little uncomfortable with a female urologist or dermatologist.
I do remember once I made an appointment to see my primary doctor about a rash on my scrotum. Wheni got there, the receptionist told me that he was called away unexpectedly so his (female) associate would see me. I was a little uncomfortable, but I went through with it anyway.

If your scrotum was itching badly enough and oozing a little blood like mine was, you probably wouldn't.

My primary concern when visiting with medical personnel is about their knowledge and competency rather than their gender. As I've grown older, strictly by chance, more and more of my physicians have been female. Whether the exam is done fully clothed, nude or anywhere in between, I feel totally comfortable with physicians of either sex.

Well Im sorry I feel that female physicians are not as in tune with the male body as a male physician! This topic is asking who else requests male physicians not hey tell me your experiences with male female blah blah blah. Simply asking who else requests male physicians!!
