semi-off-grid solar system

These new inverters are awesome with built-in transfer switches and charge controllers.
Recently purchased a 5.3kw LifePo battery so I'm almost ready to rewire my mini-splits to the solar system.

RE:semi-off-grid solar system

Well, I now have the 6.5Kw inverter running. I have 8000 watts of panels into two combiner boxes. The inverter can take 4000 watts on each input. I am also going to connect my Outback 80amp charge controller using another combiner box. I have eight new 405 watt panels for the charge controller so that gives me another 3240 watts. I will have a total of 11240 watts during sunshine. So far the system is working great running two mini-split air conditioners. The 48V - LiFePO4-115Ah-5.3kWh Battery seems to work ok so far. I will connect two more mini-splits when I get free time for that project.
