But other naturists know what it means. Until it gets in use widespread and the general population come to understand what it means.
I recently posted this symbol on Facebook with reference to a recent holiday but not mentioning our nudity while there just to see if anyone recognised it. Although many friends liked and commented on the post, not one person recognised the symbol.

Looks like a generic logo for a beach resort.
That is a compliment! By looking so generic, the Naturist Symbol is safe to use all over the world. There are other stickers for people who want to share openly they are naturist/nudist.
