RE:False profiles reduction

Another dead giveaway that someone is fake is to ask them to cam chat and they give an excuse as to why they can't.

Not reliable. I am a genuine naturist on here, but will often have to give excuses as to why I cant chat on camera. Basically, although my wife is fine with my nudity, going on cam with other naturists/in the chat room is something I have to do when she is out. So my availability is limited.
Also a high percentage of the people who ask to chat on cam are not interested in just chatting naked. Lets just say they are looking forward something else.

The person asking for cam chat is just as much a suspect. I never cam with people I only know on the web, and im a paid certified 5+ year member. As another commenter staited there can be alterior motives to be ask somone on cam. I have had a couple experiences where some random person contacted me so i could 'prove' that im real. When declining they pressed even harder. You already dont want to talk to the guy and now its getting rude. And who knows if they are screen recording.

I think a complete and certified profile with multiple not at all sexual and entirly normal daily nude pics of the same person is reasonable, and bonus if paid since scamers arnt going to pay $100 each for every fake account. People who are actualy worth chating beyond text are people who you can phisicly meet in your local area. I have made real life freinds on here and for them cam would be ok beacuse you know their for real.

There seem to be a small group whos opinion is that your obligated to cam chat or your automaticly a fake as if there exists no ligitimate reason that anyone would have concern for showing themselves on cam. Some of use like our privacy respected and prefer real life relationships rather than play roulet on the cam.

This is a really good point. People who are eager to chat arent always on the up and up.

I noticed a strong reduction in the number of "friends", perhaps the site administrators are doing periodic cleaning of fake or no longer used profiles.

Could be the rules rules about having to be certified to post media are having a positive effect on the number of fake accounts. The fake/spam accounts that deluge your profile with likes all seem to have profile pics, I presume they cant post those if not certified so maybe arent bothering.

It could also be a result of people leaving. The forced inclusion of having photographs and peronnal details on the site to enable the use of functions that attracted people here. I enjoy chatting to people on cam, seeing the person you are interacting with, I will not become certified, The inclusion of cookies, being sold and run by companies such as google is the worst issue I have with the changes. All your personnal details are now fully open to the whole internet world. Wait till friends ask why they are getting nudist site popups while viewing your facebook account! Horrendous move and a huge infringement on privacy if you ask me. It does nothing to stop scammers, working girls looking for CC details or fake profiles looking to capture you camera to sell to porn sites. All those issues are still there.

That's not how I read the cookie policy...

And again on Mastercard compliance and Media

Due to the nature of this lifestyle, and the implications to some, we began the site with privacy being paramount. Unlike other major social media sites :We do not sell ANY user data users to ANYONE.We allow users to adjust their privacy settings to their degree of anonymity. We do not cater ads, track you or analyze your usage for marketing.

Since being certified I no longer have access to the certification instructions page, but if I remember correctly it stated that pictures used for certification were deleted upon completion of the certification process.

Ultimately, you have to do what you think is best for your situation.
