Nevada

Likely exploring the Black Rock Desert area in Nevada this weekend and into next week to soak in hot springs and enjoy some naked time while dispersed camping. Has anyone been there?

I just looked on the map and it sure doesn't look like anything is there.

That looks very remote and barren.
Is there a particular reason you are going there?

Yup - there are a number of remote and primitive hot springs in that area, most of them probably a bear to get to. My kind of place!

The desert is a special place. Either love it or hate it. I love it.

The desert is special, indeed! So vast and expansive, magnifying the arc of one's contemplation and turning solitude into a unifying connectedness with a wilderness not so barren if one looks in the roght places. In this moment I am loving it!

Update on my travels: NW Nevada is remote, rugged, and a place of extreme weather fluctuations. It is expansive and incredibly beautiful in its wilderness and has incredible places to enjoy being naked from natural hot springs to wide open valleys and mountain ranges. I highly recommend it for travelers who don't mind some difficult driving on rough roads.

I'm in central Nevada near a natural, clothing optional hot spring.
