Whether shaving for the beach or for the local club I find I can get a reasonable trim round the base of my penis with a razor and scissors, but always struggle to remove the hair round my balls easily. I hate it to have a neat looking penis at the top, only to spoil the look below with straggly bits. My wife doesn't want to do it for fear of cutting me. Although she doesn't mind me shaving her pubic hair all off. I wonder is there a cream that is safe to use on my balls, as I have heard of some men having disastrous results when using ordinary ladies hair remover. I want to keep on having the clean, not bald look, mainly because if I let the pubic hair grow it becomes rather a thick bush. It covers at least an inch or more of the base of my penis and dramatically reduces the apparent length. That extra inch & a half makes all the difference.
Personally, I don't like the shaved pubes look. It looks odd to me. A little trim is fine, but no pubes at all is not attractive in my book. Maybe it's because I grew up in the 80s and 90s, and back then a full bush was the norm, and body hair was considered somewhat desirable. My first time in a nudist beach as a teenager no one was shaved. I find pubic hair pleasantly aesthetic, both in men and women. It's natural. I know it's a personal preference, but I think the shaven look has become more than that, it's a trend that for some reason is now expected among nudists in public spaces. It's kind of nudist etiquette now: please shave your pubes to show respect to others. And I think some people just shave in order to fit or not be seen as odd. It shouldn't be like that. If you like to shave that's good, but if you don't, be confident and let it grow. It shouldn't be a social expectation or promoted as the way to be clean and aesthetic. There's nothing dirty or ugly about body hair.
