What do we think of this new plan?
On one hand, the new signs are useful and should have been there from the start. Moving the beach from the entrance also has the impact of forcing the meercats to move away from the track, move down the beach, and then move into their sandhills. This might deter them, but I doubt it.
On the other hand, moving the beach further south from the entrance means you have to run 200m to exit the beach in the event of an emergency. I went to say "200m further from help" but frankly, if no one is in the car park, then your only chance of help is from others on the beach. There ain't no help around there.
Can't help feel it's the beginning of the end.
