I initially responded about two years ago saying I prefer a nicely trimmed pussy. I was basically introduced to the concept by my daughter when she asked to borrow my trimmer to trim her pubic area. That was a bit over 10 years ago now. I watched her closely trim and admittedly liked the look but never thought of trying it myself until years later when I asked her if she thought it would look better. Pearl and others such as Nikki and Californiacoast plus Lou-69 who stated his mother would trim for their annual trips to the beach certainly seem to disassemble the myth the bare look grew out of pornography.
Finally, Pearl, while you state you grew up waxing your pubes from a young age some of your early photos show you with pubic hair. Was it just a phase during which you decided not to shave/wax, perhaps due to your busy life as a young mother, or did you do so to determine whether you and/or your husband preferred the smooth or natural look? There is this predominance in recent decades of shaved groins, especially for women. But now there is a trend toward reversing it, to the natural hair growth, that there are plenty still preferring, and hair there serves natural functions. #BringBackTheBush
I've been a nudist since the mid 80's I remember women shaving smooth some calling it a fad than the guys again a fad now almost 40 years latter and i'd say both gals & guys 50/50 give or take .
