RE:Obsolete Members

I wont address the inactive members, I think you all did and I agree. I would, however, like to address the point that is being brought up regarding posting a pic. This is a FORUM. This is a PUBLIC FORUM. I personally work in an industry where clothing optional would be looked at and frowned upon. It is my career, not just my job. So, no I will not put my career into jeopardy because people think I should have to put my pic out there. The next argument I would get would be then just get certified. Sorry, again I wont put my career into jeopardy, there is always the chance something could happen whoops, and as I'm sure you have all heard once its out there, its out there and there is no take backs. Once I retire down the road I wont have a problem with it. But for now its not happening, if that means I get blocked from a public forum then so be it. If it means that I don't get online friends because they don't trust me for who I am, ok. Personally I'm just here to meet like minded folks, if you want to be friends then cool, if you don't because you don't trust me ok then, that's your choice no hard feelings. Long winded, but that's my .02. After reading what I wrote I think that I would be willing to post pics without a face. As long as there wasn't a way to connect it to me then I wouldn't have a problem.
I personally get a lot of emails and friend requests from those without pics and I always do the same thing: delete the request and I dont answer the email.

RE:Obsolete Members

Defenitely delete those old accounts, it will increase the quality of this site. And for not having a pic in your profile there are so many other "sites" out there to be incognito. A nudist for sure does not fear any problem with being seen as you would go at one point to a nude beach and hey, if your boss shows up there and sees you naked you would still ask him the same question... what are you doing here? So - giving me always the same fals explenation of "career at risk" - that is somebody saying who isn't really a nudist. Only here to look at naked pics and get aroused. That is not a nudist, for sure. So delete all old accounts and force all TN members to upload pics. It is also a fact that so many members have pics in their profile and never had an issue with their careers. TN has a good system to minimize that possibilty anyway.

There was one case in the USA where a school teacher was on holiday and was filmed dancing in a bikini and this was supplied to the school and she lost her job because it wasn't appropriate thing to do.

As far as losing a job, two co-workers, one was a pier and the other two levels of management above me, were fired for talking about going to nude beaches and resorts.

If you are worried about pics being seen by those that may use your pics to cause you harm you can at least get certified and make your pics only visible to other certified members. You can also get certified without posted the nude pic you used for certification. It costs nothing.

thanks Jay, I appreciate your response but as I stated in my first post.... The next argument I would get would be then just get certified. Sorry, again I wont put my career into jeopardy, there is always the chance something could happen whoops, and as I'm sure you have all heard once its out there, its out there and there is no take backs.

RE:Obsolete Members

I like the idea of an inactive account area where members can come back to their accounts if they choose to or finally remember there user name and password.

I would also like an easier way to replace inactive group moderators. If a modirator has been inactive for more than a mouth, there should be a way for a member to apply for replacing the modirator.

As to the duplicate groups, I think that there may be multiples because the midirator of one may not allow someone to join their group so it is just as easy to create your own and make up your own rules.

I flip-flop a lot on requiring nude pictures to join. This is after all a site for nudist, you expect that anyone here is comfortable with being nude and then should be will to share their nudity with other members. However, there is a lot of information here for those that are seeking to learn more about social nudity or nudity in general and I would not want to exclude them. Perhaps some day they will feel comfortable enough to share if we allow them to explorer the blogs and forums and perhaps not allow them to view profile media other than the profile picture.

Even though we may trust the owners of TN to keep our photos safe, there are way for people to take your photos and move them to a porn sit or some other site that doesnt reflect the users intent.

Well said Mcdcvs.
You are so spot on with your post.
There are plenty of people here for the wrong reasons just as there are many here for the right ones but have life conditions they feel they need to be protective of.
Judgmental people get on my nerves. You have never walked in their shoes!!!
Back to the point, Maybe there could be a latent image of a Capital letter "I" over their profile pic to show they are inactive, Just to let others know.
Maybe they are on a TN sabbatical! Why? Who knows. If they paid for a membership they have the right to be here even if they are not active!

Remember you do a search by last log in so the people who haven't been on the site are further down the search and also say only the last month as well.
