Nude gallery sites, child safety

Hello all,

I'm a firm believer that clothes are a utility and not natural. The shame and sexuality associated with nudity is a product of culture. However, it's still important to be aware of the fact that non nudist culture sees nudity as sexual.

This being said, I only recently tried to connect with the nudist community. My first few searches for nudism was extremely troubling because it provided links to photo galleries of young naked girls and not anything really nudist about them. It's clear that there are deviants using nudism as a cover to propagate child pornography. They may not be engaged in sexual activity, but the perverts spending their time there, I assume, are.

How do we as people who see nudity as being natural and not sexual fight this kind of thing? It makes us look bad, and it's gross.

These sites should be of 18 and over girls, and most likely taken from photo shots as a 18 year old girl photos will sell for more than say a 40 year old lady and there will be very small interest in naked males what ever the age or how good their body shape is in.

I really hope that's true. In any case it feels like a bad mark for nudists to have these kinds of sites around. I wish there was a way to make it known that they aren't really nudist sites.

I'm sure the very name of this site is meant to address that question - what a "true" nudist is. At beaches, there will be the occasional lurker, there only to view the bodies on display. In real life, it's a minor thing, the cause for various nudity-only rules, camera bans, and community monitors. On the internet, well... you've already seen what it is on the internet. I think the best way to address it is in real life. In internet-world, all you can do is spot outright illegality, and ask the relevant government to act. Nobody's got a trademark on the word "nudist."

nakednaturalist, well stated. How do we break this nexus. Chidren want to know things. Shame is learnt from home, church (if they go) and school. In my opinion, few are doing the correct thing by children. The internet is so easy to use to get information. Porn is rife in the internet. Bigots, religious institutions are a hypocritical lot. Abuse is rife. I wish I knew the answer.

There is a solution, and it will be implemented, but it's been slow in coming. It seems things have to get really bad before it can be reversed. But when things swing the other way it will be drastic.

Since I'm involved in the religious aspect, I will give an overview of it from that angle. The way things are currently I don't see much change happening on that point, and it may get worse before it gets better.

BUT:

We have recorded in that book called the bible, a scene, which when we take an overview look of it, looks very interesting. It starts out with a pair, naked in a paradise like garden. (our first grandparents according to the record) Then they disobey their Creator and sin, get thrown out of the garden. And then their Creator reveals to them a plan he's devised to get them and their descendants back into the garden.

Then time goes on, some 1656 years apparently. And people get so evil that God destroys the earth and saves only 8. More time passes, clear down to some 3500 years after creation, calculated by the genealogy records contained in the book. which is around 2500 years ago. And a man named Daniel of Israel, taken captive to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar, interprets a dream of the king, and later on has dreams himself which supposedly reveal the kingdoms of the future. Some in recent times who have studied those dreams very carefully, and compared them to history, find an exact match. And included is an exact time given for the Messiah to appear. The One who was promised to those first naturist gardeners after they had to leave their garden home. Checking out the dates given, it lands on the exact year that Jesus was baptized and started his work.
But that's not the end of it. The prophecies point out specific events and occurrences that have happened since then. The years 538 and 1798 saw important events happen with a time span that was repeated some 7 times between the books of Daniel and Revelation. And now all we are waiting on is the final event, which many people believe will happen quite soon. But more prophetic messages have come from others having dreams and visions, filling in a lot of details, until we have a very complete picture of what's about to happen. And it's interesting to watch things start heading the way it's been predicted. What will trigger things to rolling into the final scenes is a massive disaster followed by a significant "turning back to God" movement in society. But we are told they do their turning back to God in the wrong way in some aspects, and it just makes things worse. Eventually making out God's true followers to be criminals, blaming them for all the disasters and attempting to kill them all.

So as an overall view, we have this world starting with naturist gardeners in paradise, going through a process of corruption and evil, eventually all the evil being dealt with and eliminated, and being returned to the original state where everyone becomes naturist gardeners in paradise again. With a promise made by the Messiah that everyone who takes the steps necessary to eliminate evil from their own heart, will be resurrected and returned to the garden, which is in time brought back and expanded to cover the whole earth. Tropical paradise worldwide.
The various info from different places make it clear that those who make it to the new earth will be given their own large properties on it, to build their own houses. Landscape to their hearts content. And never see death again.

With all that as the Christian perspective, why do most professed Christians condemn naturism as evil now? It's because they have not studied that guide book deep enough to get the whole picture put together accurately and see it like it is. Yes, the bible condemns lust and sexual deviancy. But because our society has tied nudity to sexual corruption, they get that programmed in their minds and can't see that they are separate. One is good and the other evil. And that in fact if nudity were brought back into society as a normal part of public life, it would help greatly to reduce the sexual corruption that has gotten so prevalent.

We are like naked babies crawling through a mud pit of sexual corruption. The christian acting on bible instruction wants to pull the baby out of the mud and wash it off carefully. But then they throw the baby out with the dirty bath water when they discard nudity along with sexual corruption. And the result all too often is the baby falling right back into the mud pit again. mychainsaregone.org has some articles explaining that process going on. We need to break free from that trap and see the truth.
And by the way: the latest prophetic messages coming currently are also strait on that issue. Although most people either never hear of them or are rejecting them because they "step on toes" or it presents something that doesn't quite meet their opinion, and people are just generally unbelieving of such things. But I see my Creator in them trying to let us know what He's about to do. And, if we cooperate with him, He plans to put us all back into naturist paradise. And that perhaps not too far in the future. (send me a PM for more info)

RE:Nude gallery sites, child safety

Thanks for your insight. I plan on making my first visit to a nudist location next month. It's been something I've always wanted to do, but I'm from a community that definitely shuns public nudity and only sees it as sexual. I opened up to my wife about my beliefs about this last week and she was very accepting. In fact, she's going to go with me.

It's encouraging to hear that the real world is different than the online world. Most of my searches online for anything that is really nudist results in pornography or discussions about swingers resorts and what to do about an erection. I'm very glad to know other people see the problem, even if there isn't a way to combat it through legal action.

This is the very reason that I began the conversation in the legal rights forum last year. It won't be until our voices are heard, that things will change. AANR, TNS, and other similar organizations lobby to protect our rights, but little is being done to further our legitimate interests.
Sites like this one who have a tremendous following of genuine people, I believe, could have an incredible impact on the situation if only their voices were heard.

Personally I think nudism should be kept away from children when they are at the age that they are aware of it, I think all children should be kept out of public nudity. I think it should be their own decision to do it at home when they decide to and that after they are 18 can be in public. I just don't think it is for kids.

A valid opinion, but consider this. Beaches became sites for family recreation in the late 19th and early 20th centuries when swimwear for men required long shorts and shirts. Women were required to wear a suit with skirts and long sleeves and stockings. If when men began to shed the shirts at the beach and the women stopped wearing the stockings, should children have been kept from going to the beach?

Now skip another 100 years and men have gone ridiculous in their attire with long and baggy shorts. Women's suits have gotten skimpy enough that they really do not hide anything. Should kids be kept from the beach now? What if there are people of both sexes who are wearing thongs? If thongs are acceptable, why is nudity not?

Kids love to be naked as much if not more so than adults. Teach them that nudity is wrong and they will become uncomfortable with it. Teach them that there are places where it is normal to be without clothing and there should be no problem. Not sure how or why we have evolved into a society that loves pornography but is ashamed to be seen naked and is appalled to see others who are naked. Yet polling suggests that most people do not have an objection to their neighbors living a nudist lifestyle and being nude in their own backyards.

There is no logic to most peoples attitude toward nudity.
