A private profile feels, to me, like the online version of the lurker behind the tree at the nude beach. I'm not gonna get bent out of shape about it, but it's not someone I want to know.
If somebody really can't risk being identified on the site, there are better alternatives - a very general location, enough text to allow people to look for commonalities, and either no pics or friends-only pics.
I personally don't care about those people. They don't affect me or interfere with why I'm here.
I rarely block anyone, but then again none of my public pics reveal anything unless my outdoor shower gets them off!
I don't care who reads my profile or what I post about.
If someone friend requests me and their profile is totally private, I sometimes send them a message.
"Who are you, what are you all about, why do you want to be my friend and tell me how you became a nudist."
If no dialog continues, I just decline and move on. Not worth fretting over!
I don't really care what they are here for. If it's contrary to what I believe, I don't give them anything to feed into it.
There are all different kinds of people out there and we will never be able to create a perfect nudist cyber utopia!
So just enjoy what you enjoy.
If you don't feed the stray cat, it eventually goes away!
Spoken like a voyeur. When posting nudes on here, anything can happen with that photo, and it can be world wide and on porn sites within minutes.
Then WTF business does a person who is all in a twist about something like that have being on a site like this in the first place. Go mouth about being a nudist over in Facebook land or some such where nude photos aren't allowed and leave the rest of us who are serious about this alone. (I don't mean you personally here, BTW, just for clarity.)
I agree with those who say there should be certain levels of ability based on how much one is willing to certify. If photos can be blocked for the sake of money, they can for the comfort and security of legit members regarding photos (and for the love of Gawd, with the video chat).
I embrace my sexual self and don't dignify that unjustifiable shame any more than I do what is heaped upon just the body. That said, nudism is for me a cause reaching far beyond generic terms of freedom and how good the sun and breezes feel. It is about the very core of individual autonomy. It is about loving yourself and others as you are, and accepting and even seeing the beauty of all of our perfect imperfections. It is about teaching and empowering children to know their bodies, how they work, and what consent is in order to better protect them and take some of the primary tools out of the hands of predators.
In short (too late, right?), it is a cause I have come to feel passionate about. If an employer wishes to fire me, ok. I will go, but I will consult a lawyer and Garner as much negative attention toward them and positive toward the cause to get something of value out of it if I can.
If it's just your standard pervert, I doubt I have much of interest to offer any of that sort anymore. I mean at this stage of the game, it's a bit like "It's A Wonderful Life" at Christmas time.
If you haven't seen it by now, it's pretty much on you.
