When I was growing up, going nude after bath time was normal thing especially during the summer months , but when I was around 10 I remember my mom tellin me I should start to wear something , I always thought that was odd of her I mean my family saw me nude so not seeing a big deal as I got older
I agree with posts #3 and #4. Why should you have a cut-off age. Family nudity is good, it creates a stronger bond and is healthy. As the child matures, let them decide when they want to wear something at home.
I raised my son and daughter in a nudist home. We taught them that there was a time to be covered up, like when non nudist friends were visiting, going to the grocery store or church,.....just a few battles I remember.....and when it was OK to be nude. My children understood from an early age the do's and don't of nudism. They were raised attending nudist and non nudist events. Once they began to mature, they knew they could wear clothes or not....We let them make their own choices. Now they are in their mid 30's and are fully functioning, well adjusted members of society. I admit, the 80's and 90's were a different time to be raising children but I hate think that kids just can't be kids even at home.
Agree 100%. Common sense presides so it makes sense. In the home who cares. If they are comfortable with their siblings and nudity let them be nude.
There is no "Cutoff" and there shouldn't be. I agree with Anattin that there are correct times and non correct times to be nude but why stop them at a certain age from being nudists, that's a weird question to ask.
Entirely up to the kid. I have a Niece that practically lived at my house. She was naked most of the time up until age 12. Between 12 and 14, it was hit and miss. At 14, rarely nude, but was unconcerned about being seen if she was. Peer pressure and embarrassment about puberty starts to take over at that age. She is almost 18, and enters the Navy in a few months. It will be interesting to see how (if) her attitude changes once she is out on her own.

Where I live, the cutoff age in textile families when not anymore allowing kids to run around nude in front of "strangers" runs usually between 6-10. In nude families again depends rather, as already pointed out, more about context. Nudity should not restricted at home if no textile people in the house. About textile people then depends their attitude, as some are OK and some not.
Otherwise difference from country to country is huge. Whereas in the US kids are usually covered since diaper age, in many European countries and in more natural Asian tribal cultures nudity is generally tolerated till much later age. In many textile families also home nudity common. Unlike many here on this site, they do not perceive home nudity being nudism, as nudism/naturism starts when you are nude in broader setting or with strangers/semi-strangers.
