Solaris Camping Resort, Croatia

We have just booked a holiday in the Solaris Camping Resort in Croatia in Sept 2020. Has anyone been there or have any information about it?

Well we have confirmation that we can still go on this holiday with social distancing so if anyone has been before please get in touch as we need to know how much it will cost and what to look out for

Just got back from this camp site. So to start with the site is 2.5Km wide with the pool in the middle so if you have a Superior apartment then you need to walk a long way to get there. Oh and the pool is only 3 feet deep and is much colder than the sea so be warned. Second, there is very little beach there. Most of the sea front is large rock platforms that have stairs into the water so you will need Neoprene shoes to avoid slipping.

The prices there are very high for food, a small can of coke will cost 3.00 for 250ml but the food is good. They only give you a map at reception and do not tell you any opening times of the bars and restaurants and nothing about the live entertainment there. So you tend to miss out on a lot.

Do not go this time of year as the bar near the apartments stops serving food as its out of season! So you are forced to travel to the middle of the camp or drive out. You WILL need a car as there are two supermarkets 3km away that are reasonably priced and much better than the on site supermarket.
We had a Superior Apartment and found it did not have an in room safe, if you want one you have to go back to the reception. There was only a hob with no oven, so boil everything approach to cooking and no toaster. The standard of the room is certainly NOT superior and we were told standard rooms don't even have a refrigerator. So if you go there take an SUV or all your own camping gear
