to all the young men please check

My young nephew 29 just lost a testical to cancer, one day felt a lump, then 4 weeks later he noticed it was bigger and harder, went to the dr. and within a week it was removed and yes it was cancerous. this is a young mans problem so please check and if you feel anything strange go to the dr.
4 weeks later he is all recovered and all is working fine with just one. they did put a fake one in to keep things looking natural..

Good advice! I've only recently checked. Should definitely do it more often!

Brilliant advice. There are a couple of medical videos to watch in addition to the link suggested by wolfsteve

RE:to all the young men please check

I had hydrocele of my right testicle just over a year ago. I had noticed my right testicle growing larger over a period of about 6 months. I had it diagnosed right before I retired and moved away. Then it took me another 6 months to get off my ass and get a new doctor to get it taken care of. Probably a good thing in a way. The first doctor explained a procedure where they remove the fluid that builds up around the testicle in a sac using a syringe. My new urologist told me while that would work the results would be temporary and the fluid would certainly come back shortly. He said the better procedure is to cut open the scrotum and remove the fluid filled sac from around the affected testicle completely. It is not difficult surgery but the recovery period is quite a bit longer because of the swelling caused by trauma. I was on the couch for about 3 days, and hobbling around for another week but the pain meds made it bearable. I was mostly interested to know that I could still orgasm (aren't we men all alike in that respect?) So after a week to 10 days or so I checked that out and much to my satisfaction that part still worked just like always) It took almost three months for everything to get back to normal.

But long story short, best time to check is in the shower or bath when everything is hanging lower. Get to know the shape of your testicles for a base line and check often. You just never know.

The first Tuesday of each month is "Testicle Tuesday". I have posted this each first Tuesday here. It really is important. I had a 'scare' two years back when doing a self exam. It turned out to be a benign cell, just like a black head. It was removed with no after affects what so ever.
You can program your own calendar with your 'Tuesday'. Just do it each month.
Stay safe out there guys. If you are in self quarantine, stay up-beat, and enjoy being naked all day.
