RE:Drawn to being a nudist as a young boy

this thread took me back to childhood. I loved to get naked with friends on the farm. Swimming in the pond which was at the back of the farm running around and getting lost in childhood games and forgetting that we were naked. Mum called me a nude nut on a couple of occasions.

Then my daughters were young it was a time in NZ that the sexual abuse industry was out of hand so being naked with my daughters was out of the question. now that reason has returned and nudity is not associated with abuse I enjoy being naked with my grandsons, one is beginning to join me in not covering up.

I love the feeling when I get home and have the need to remove my cloths. It is a NEED not just a habit.

I loved being naked at 7 or 8, never knew why or really cared why. Still love being naked outdoors!

Feel very fortunate that my father not only approved but encouraged my need to be nude (and agree with the post about it bein a *need* for many of us) My fave memories were when I got to spent time with him naked. Honestly miss those days so much now. Believe all kids, especially boys, should get to be nude often as possible growing up. With the parent. Its part of becoming a man that society had robbed us of and shamed generations of nude bodies.

My father was the same way. We were not a nudist family, but he and I spent a lot of time together naked. Not only did we shower together until I graduated high school, we would hang together naked in my room. It was a very bonding experience for both of us.

We stopped showering together when I was 14. Really did miss him being in there. You and I are among the lucky few who had that time with our fathers for nude male bonding.

I am pretty sure I was a born nudist as I always enjoyed being nude and never really had any shame in being nude. I always was comfortable being nude at home and my dad was totally comfortable being nude as well. Some people are just really comfortable naturally.

Coming of age in the 1950s on an Ohio farm, nudity was ever present. My dad came in from the field dirty so he took his clothes off on the porch and walked nude to the bath then later to the bedroom. It was just a fact that he slept nude. By 14, I was as well. I never liked clothes so I would shuck them off any chance I got. When they were working the crops, I was 12 year becoming very aware of my changing body. I would lay in the sun and listen to the radio. When my parents came home, I would go to my upstairs room and wear just a jock strap if anything. We country boys would get a group from our Boy Scout troop and set up camp in a nearby woods. As soon as it was dark, and no adults to hamper us with rules, we would take off our clothes and dance around a large fire and the older boys told ghost stories. If we went swimming in the creek, it was nude. That eventually led to camping trips with my own kids where we had nude time or skinny dippy in local streams. They stopped as they grew but I still enjoyed it. After I retired, I joined two local nudist Clubs. What joy in discovering hundreds of people loved to be outside nude. I finally fit in.Now as an elderly man, I still love walking out of the house nude. I have circled back to a farm in the summer where I lead an isolated time of complete nudity.

Great story

RE:Drawn to being a nudist as a young boy

Pretty much started when I had plenty of home alone time as a kid. Everyday after school, I'd come home hours before either parent and strip naked and walk around the apartment and then sit nude in the front window (we lived on the third floor I thought it was pretty safe) playing with myself until I saw one of them coming down the street and had enough time to get dressed and crack a textbook open on the kitchen table. On the rare weekends they would go out for an evening, I got to roam around the whole building naked, up and down the front and back stairs and even out to the alley when it got dark.

This went on in high school when I found a short cut home after school through the woods by our house. I would walk in aways, strip naked and walk through the woods, (stopping for a quickie here or there) and get near to the other side and get dressed again. Just a continuation of PE class where I was not shy about undressing in the locker room and took a bit longer than the other boys in the shower. Seemed like I always was leaving the towel in my locker.

I was also the first one of my group of friends to get naked at their house while playing and stay that way until it was time to go home. Loved being the "prisoner" who had to strip naked and get tied up and put in our makeshift jail in a friend's backyard tool shed.

Just continued it through college, walked around the floor at the dorm naked a lot, back and forth to the shower, towel over my shoulder. Seemed like a normal thing to do since nobody objected and I liked the feeling.

We are born naked. There are only three reasons to cover our bodies with cloth:

1) For warmth
2) For safety purposes (not a good idea to ride a motorbike at high speed on the open road when you're nude)
3) To conform with social norms.

Any other time, there is absolutely no need to have clothes on - especially when the weather is good.
It's only normal when you're young to want to be free of clothes.
