Nudism in Russia

I look at a lot of information about places of rest without clothes in Europe, but there is not a word about Russia.

I would like to share a little about the famous habitats of nudists in Russia.

1. Koktebel, Crimea (consider the capital of nudism in Russia)

2. Fox Bay (village Orzhonikidze, Crimea)

I continue to get acquainted with the beaches in Russia!

Nudist beach in Kabardinka

It is located near Novorossiysk, just behind Cape Dob. The place contained a wild and nudist beach. There is no definite dividing line. If a person decides to sunbathe naked, he just goes away. Fortunately, the zone is surrounded by dense vegetation. There are no services and amenities here. Only wild marine nature and clear clear water. By the way, you should be ready for a steep descent to the sea. The shore is pebbly.

Since the photos are not displayed, I will repeat and add a description =)

The wild beach "Lisya Bay" or "Liska", as it is also often called, is located in the southeastern part of the Crimean peninsula, near Sudak, southwest of the village of Kurortnoye and northeast of the village of Coastal.

The place "Fox Bay" is a fairly large, wide bay of the Black Sea, surrounded by impressive and beautiful mountain ranges Kara-Dag and Echki-Dag, which gives it a feeling of isolation and isolation from the outside world.

As it is not surprising, but "Fox Bay" is one of the places that made Crimea famous far beyond the borders of Russia and Ukraine. Attracts tourists, both the unusual setting of the beach, which does not involve the usual formalities, and the natural features of this place, making it one of the most beautiful on the entire peninsula. In fact, the "Fox Bay" is the only one of the wild areas of the Crimea that is not a state nature reserve, and therefore accessible to everyone, in which nature has been preserved in a form that has not been affected by technological progress and any construction, and has preserved its pristine beauty.

The beach "Fox Bay" is a unique place in the Crimea, where the rest is significantly different from the usual beach holiday and has a number of its own specific features that cannot be found in other Black Sea resorts.

The length of the coastline of the "Fox Bay" is about five kilometers, the relief of the coast here is uneven, with significant elevation differences.

The beach is covered with grayish sand, both on the shore and under water. However, in places the seabed hides large boulders under the sand.Due to the proximity of the mountains, it will not be a problem to find a shady place in the "Fox Bay", where, if desired, you can hide from the heat and sunlight. The air and sea water here are saturated with various trace elements, such as iodine, which have a beneficial effect on the human body and contribute to overall health improvement. In addition, the water here occupies a leading position in purity and transparency compared to the water on other beaches of the Crimean peninsula.

"Fox Bay" is a wild beach, so there is no standard infrastructure for urban beaches, tourists coming here independently set up tents, canopies, awnings, tents and other structures, depending on their need.

However, due to the increasing popularity of this place, cafes and bars usually open here during the season, although they are very authentic. In addition, in the village of Kurortnoye, closest to the "Fox Bay", you can find everything you need: shops and markets with food, fruits, clothing and household and leisure goods, pharmacies, public transport stops, ATMs and other infrastructure facilities.

I will share a more detailed description of the beach in the village of Koktebel!

Rest in Koktebel nudist? Really!

There are places in Koktebel that are more intended for adults. But this does not mean that they are devoid of romanticism and a touch of fabulousness, so typical of the Crimea. Many of these corners are world famous. One of them is a nudist beach, Koktebel, unlike many other cities of the peninsula, can boast of it.

Where is the beach?
Vacationers don't need to worry about figuring out how to find a nudist beach. In Koktebel, it is a direct neighbor of the main beach area. They are separated by a small stream. Then the coast stretches for several hundred meters to the Junge Hill. The border is the fence of private apartments. Two more of its "branches" are located on the site from the border outpost to Cape Chameleon and in Tikhaya Bay.

Created by Voloshin
Koktebel nudist beach is rightfully considered the oldest in the Crimea. Its founder is considered to be the writer and Koktebel in the paintings of Voloshin by the artist M. Voloshin. Contrary to many stereotypes, the early Soviet era was quite supportive of this trend, and the figure himself was a fan of it. On the beach, he made sketches of naked women against the background of Crimean landscapes (the word "nudist" in France means an artist who draws nudes). Friends of the writer and models also joined the company. During breaks, everyone swam and sunbathed. So there was a beach for those who wanted at least for a while, but to get rid of any clothes.

At the time of Voloshin, this section of the coast was actually outside the village. Then Koktebel was not a fashionable resort. Today, the coast for nudists is located in the city limits. Its territory has somewhat decreased, since a significant part of the coast was "occupied" by new expensive hotels. But it exists, is very popular, and locals and vacationers of the "dressed" city beach have long been accustomed to the pebbles and treat them quite calmly.

Natural entertainment of Koktebel
The nudist beach in Koktebel occupies a space about 700 m long and 50 m wide, but it is always crowded during the season. Individual vacationers periodically switch from the "naked" Rest area on the Nudist beach on the bank to the "clothed" and back. Successive nudists stop at a tent city nearby.

The surface of the beach is pebbly, but still people here often sunbathe than swim, although the sea here is also excellent - deep and clean. All popular entertainments in Koktebel are available here: sea skiing, diving, beach sports. This place is not intended for lovers of luxury. But even quite spoiled tourists tend to visit it as an unusual corner of the Crimean land. Visitors from abroad also come here, since the Nudist beach is marked in international tourist guides.

The brightest event here is the Neptune Festival. This theatrical action is organized by experienced volunteers, everyone becomes participants and "actors". They are not supposed to have special costumes, but the sea trident, shells and algae are present in the entourage. Who said that mermaids and newts were dressed?!

How to get to the beach?
It is useful for an ordinary tourist and nudist to walk, especially since there are no special transport routes in Koktebel to the nudist beach or pointers on how to get to it. You will have to go on foot along the Koktebel embankment. It is necessary to move to the left past the city coast. The travel time will depend on where you managed to get to the embankment. A brook will serve as a guide it separates the official part of the shore from the nudist one.

Tourist note:
Address: the area of the intersection of Armatlukskaya and Morskaya str., Koktebel, Crimea, Russia.
Coordinates: 4457'59"N (44.966404), 3515'48" E (35.263283).

Nudist beach in Lazarevskoye

In Lazarevskoye, in addition to the usual, well-equipped beaches, there are also wild places. Do not be surprised, but it is in such places that tourists like to relax without complexes, as well as lovers of even tanning. You probably already guessed that we are talking about nudist beaches now. The nudist beach is located on the outskirts of Lazarevskoye, towards the village of Ashe. The coastal strip stretches here for 300 m, and therefore you will definitely find a place for sunbathing.

It is difficult to call a nudist beach completely "wild". Its main difference from the beaches loved by most tourists is that the infrastructure here is not too developed. You will not find a rental point for renting sun loungers and umbrellas here, there will be no traditional beach entertainment, cafes and bars here. However, this is the beauty of recreation, the nudist Lazarevsky beach is loved by those who prefer to relax without the hustle and bustle, the influx of tourists.

Lazarevsky's nudist beach is pebbly, both small and medium pebbles are found here along the entire beach line. It is easier to walk on small pebbles, but it is not too comfortable to lie on it. But a large pebble heated by the sun will be an ideal natural massager for your body. Many prefer pebble beaches to sandy ones: sand does not get into the eyes, it will not need to be shaken out of bags and towels after a rest.

A railway runs along the coastline of the nudist beach. Trains do not run on it too often, because this will not interfere with a good and relaxing rest in any way. Under the railway tracks there is a convenient car exit directly to the beach. The bus stop "Lesnichestvo" can serve as a guide for you. This nudist beach in Lazarevskoye has the status of an official one, and if you are embarrassed to undress completely, it is better to prefer other beaches of the resort.

There is a diving camp not far from the nudist beach. If you want to scuba dive or swim on the surface of the water with a mask and snorkel, go there. Just don't forget to get dressed, because the divers' camp is located on a territory that no longer belongs to a nudist beach. By the way, diving in coastal waters is really worth it: due to the fact that the shore here is pebbly, not sandy, the sea is very clean.

Despite the fact that the nudist beach is considered wild, cleanliness is also monitored here. Garbage bins are placed along the beach, and employees of the resort area regularly clean the beach strip.

It is not difficult to get to the Lazarevsky nudist beach it is located on the outskirts of the village in the direction of Ashe. The stop "Lesnichestvo" will serve as a guide for the descent to the sea. Entrance to the beach is free.

Address: Krasnodar Territory, Sochi, Lazarevskoye settlement.
