The joy of nudity in art and photography

Its amazing how over the centuries the pure joy of being nude amongst others has been captured so well.

Whilst 'art' in most places from the earliest of times captures the nude mostly in a functional daily duty and then through the Renaissance we have posed nudes, the joy is still evident.

What I like about this is that as we moved into the era of photography the same philosophy of joy moved forward to.

That joy I believe we all understand to be freedom - to be truly free from any pretences, veils and facades .
