What pics are too sexual to post on TN?

Like almost everybody around here, I had many censored pics, although I tried to respect the rules and didn't try to push (too much ;) the edge of the enveloppe. But what is too much, too sexual, too exhibitionist to post? If this question raised enough interest, we could upload examples of censored pics and discuss them.

But let's first get the ru!es, one by one.

"1. No headless shots allowed if genitals are shown, PARTIAL FACE must at least be shown".

Ok, this sounds simple enough doesn't it. But I have two minor questions: what is "genitals" and what is "partial face". Let's start with the latter. I always cover my eyes. Is this ok? What if I only include my mouth and cut off the rest of the head? Mouth and nose?

As for the genitals, yes, I have a vague idea what they are, I got some anatomy lessons in school, thank you. But in my case, I hardly ever (and only very partially) show my "genitals". In 90% of th pics I post you can see my pubis, you know, the triangle of skin which swimwear covers, but no part of my labiae. Is the pubis "genitals" for you (cause it surely is for TN)?

"2. Pictures must be nudist-friendly. No voyeuristic, exhibitionist photos".

This at least has the merit of being clear. Or not? I am trying hard to imagine what a voyeuristic pic would look like and the only thing which comes to mind is a guy peeking through a fence at a hapless young lady.

And exhibitionism is a disorder which makes you need to (or at least derive significant sexual gratification from) showing your naked body, usually to unsuspecting clothed individuals. For many non-nudists, nudism itself is exhibitionism. I don't think it is and I believe that if you get on a nudist site and look at pics you are not very likely to be shocked and upset if you see some nudity. Again, the only kind of exhibitionist pic on a nudist site which comes to mind would be a person naked in public, among unsuspecting clothed people.

"3. No sexual pictures, erections, crotch shots or pornographic pictures are not allowed".

I won't even mention the double negation here (it's been there for at least the last two years). I guess I can detect a crotch shot, an erection or a pornographic pic. But what is a sexual pic? Fine, say masturbation is forbidden. What about if you are dancing and twerking (or whatever it is called) and your body position or face expression would look a bit as if you are having some forbidden pleasure but nothing is in sight?

"4. No Spread Eagle, or shots where the butt, genitals or anus are the main focus point."

Not sure why spread eagle and not spread legs. Does it mean that if we are spread legged but arms are not spread out all is fine? Cool. And genitals (in the sense of the actual external part of your reproductive organ) seems ok. Even the anus, fine, it is often used for sexual games. But why the butt? You can see it fully on a textile beach if I'm wearing a thong...

I'll stop here. And you? What do you think should be forbidden on TN?

RE:What pics are too sexual to post on TN?

Definitely, things would improve if the guidelines were applied with more consistency. They could also perhaps be relaxed within the groups (excluding the main image), since one implicitly acceptsthe content based on the groups name. Or we just all trot over to TS for the main game, since picture standards are way more relaxed there.

A proposition which would require more work would be to make more areas only accessible to certified members. Once again, it means users have to be slightly more committed before seeing everything. Of course, that would require all of us to be willing to submit to the certification process... :-)

Maybe TN should publish a sort of visual guide to what is OK and what is not?
Here in Australia the passport office has a guide...
https://www.passports.gov.au/getting-passport-how-it-works/photo-guidelines
TN could show what it means by 'spread-eagled' , when a picture becomes 'sexual', when a penis is 'too' erect, and, yes, what 'genitals' are!
But then again... why would they bother? They are making easy cash with a minimum of effort, a perfect business model.

Then there's that new claim that they've hit 500,000 (or 500.000) members. I'm not seeing much activity from around 499,000 of them. :-)

I agree Ive had some pics deleted dont know why there was no erection maybe it was the angle of the photo. I have seen some pics and profiles with full erections that wasnt deleted.

I have had the same experience sadly there doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to the process. I actually dont think they are too strict its rather that there is no consistency in the application of the rules.

We totally agree with you Tognudist, but some completely inoffensive photos, prudish for a naturist site, are also deleted...
So ?
What is going on in the minds of the dear site administrators?
For us, it remains a mystery...

You're trying to nail jelly to a tree.

The image guidelines are vague and are inconsistently enforced.

As best as I can tell, each moderator freely deletes images based on their own personal and private understanding of what the guidelines mean. Further, there is no recourse or redress available. No appeals process. Not even an explanation for why a particular image was removed.

For a while, I was under attack by a psycho moderator who was deleting every image I uploaded including images of trees, flowers, plants, landscapes, and headshots.

It frankly burns my (naked!!) BUTT (so there!! lol) to have perfectly fine NUDIST pictures, whether mine, Nemo's or anyone else's, deleted for no good reason. This is a NUDIST site for crying out loud-- people have 'private parts'--GENITALS!!! WE are naked so they get seen. We're not textile prisoners. Being, seeing and being seen naked is why I'm on TN and why I practice social nudism. Every inch of the human body is to be appreciated and not hidden.
That being said, I and many others are also members of sister site TS. Personally, I am not a swinger, but I do like to see and show more than is (rightly) allowed on TN. Certainly any actual sex acts belong there and NOT on TN.

If the powers that be REALLY want to keep this site clean and nudist friendly--- start screening new folks a bit. I've lost track of the 'new' members (?) who are the same old faces with new identities. And what about the ones who are openly advertising 'play for pay'? It grieves me to see a great place like TN being misused as a catfishing pond and a marketplace for prostitution.

Let's just enjoy this wonderful freedom, this special gift of being TRUE NUDISTS. (^_^)

I can't tell you how many pics we've had deleted for various unexplained reasons. Then, we come upon pics from certain members that clearly violate the guidelines. I'm sure we've all seen pics of blurred faces, crotch-shots, and sexually provocative poses on here. That is one of the prime reasons we refuse to be paying members.

I've stopped posting pix because I've seen how people need to post pix that fall within the guidelines 3 or 4 times before they're not deleted. I've also seen plenty of spread eagle poses from a popular evangelist woman I call Clit4Christ post anything she wants with no questions asked. It's a dying site driving people away, and the same seems to apply from people getting banned from the chat room. I enjoy reading threads from a handful of people who are intelligent and engaged.
